Short Story
In 2025 Andalusian council together with the rest of the owners of Estadio De La Cartuja decided that the stadium must have a permanent resident because of rising costs of maintenance. Investors were invited to form a new club in Seville and become third power in the city. One of the local businessmans decided to buy the 3% of shares in Estadio De La Cartuja that was owned by Sevilla FC and Real Betis. With that he started to form a club. He didn't want to start from the bottom of football tier in Spain and city needed money in next couple years to maintaint the stadium, so he bought license to play in Segunda RFEF, the 4 tier in Spain, from local club Atlético Antoniano based in Lebrija. The local fans were furious but club had to accept the offer worth milions of euros.
Shortly after the registration of the club as a stock company, Heineken España and Iturri Group became minority shareholders and main sponsors of the club.
The name of new club is a mix of Atlético Antoniano and La Cartuja. The club colors became white and blue, referring to Seville and Lebrija colors.
That's how Atlético La Cartuja was created.
Now club looks for suitable manager. Can you become the new biggest club in Spain? Can you become the most titled club in Seville? You can make it happen.
Technical side
-I've made the new logo and kits ( kits were made using Kitbasher tool). If you want to use them throw them in graphics and change your config if you use any other kits or logo pack. Personally I use TCM logopack so if you use it too you just need to overwrite it in spain folder.
-At the start you'll have all the players and staff from Atlético Antoniano. ( There's a second file without anyone )
-There's 2 million in bank account and antoher 1 paid in two years.
- At the start you'll have around 6k salary per week avaiable and 300k in transfer budget. ( Without players around 32k per week )
- You will be playing at Estadio De La Cartuja and have training facilities in Instalaciones Deportivas La Cartuja.
- At the start of the save you will have around 1200 attendance on 70000 seater stadium so you need to build a brand.
Known problems
- Some players have Atlético La Cartuja as former club and it shows up that they played for it for years, beacause it's edited Antoniano.
- Club have tropies of Atlético Antoniano in history tab and I don't know how to change it
This is my first time doing something like this so if you find some bug or have an idea what to change to make the save better please write a comment.

As a betis fan, the story makes no sense whatsoever.
It's betis home for the next couple of years, while the club is working on benito villamarín and after that, it's sevilla fc who'll do the same.
Having 3 clubs in a city of sevilla's size is beyond stupid…

Yes, I know that Betis play there for now and it was one of the reason to make a club that is permanent resident of it, and you're right that 3 big clubs in metropolitan area around 1.5 million people is not really realistic. Maybe in this timeline Seville doubled in size. It's a fiction that I made for myself and just decided to upload it if someone would want to play it too.

If someone wanted to justify 3 big clubs in one city then examples even from my country can be Kraków (1 mln people) in which there are Wisła, Cracovia and Wieczysta. Then you have Silesian Metropolitan area (2 mln people) in which are Górnik, GKS Katowice,GKS Tychy, Piast, Ruch, Polonia, Zagłębie . You can add ( bigger ones) Athens (3 mln people), Lisboa (3 mln people), Prague (1,5 mln people). Of course the “size” of most of the clubs from these cities are not as big as Betis Or Sevilla overall but they are same size in context of any given country.

Krakow is actually bigger than Sevilla (my kid is half polish) and the whole 3 teams attendance is lower than Betis alone.
The countries u name have far less cities capable of hosting a top tier club compared to Spain.
Your scenario is basically like saying that a small 4th div got awarded Wembley or Parc des princes…

From the start of making this database I wanted to give La Cartuja to the club after advancing to LaLiga as it would make more sense but you can't make something like this in editor so I left it so they have it from the start. It's not perfect or realistic but it wasn't made to be perfect or realistic. I don't force anyone to play it.

that's my whole point: it's almost impossible, from a lore point of view, to do so.
Spain is not argentina or england, you don't have 3 big teams in the same city. Even in Madrid, Getafe and Rayo vallecano are NOT from Madrid (the city).
More than that, it goes directly against the development of both Betis and Sevilla, since they are or will use the stadium the next 5 to 6 years
I can definitely understand that my tone sounded harsher than expected though
