Hello! thank for this mod. I wanted to know if an update will be released today? I am trying to start a save and want to know if I should wait a little for this update 🙂

JANUARY UPDATE
 

Additions/Updates:

• UEFA: UEFA: Results updated to the last matchday played.
• Results updated to the last matchday played for the nations already present.
• ENGLAND: Added Real Fixture & Results for League Two
• ENGLAND: Championship: Added Sheffield Wednesday deduction points
• FRANCE: Championnat National: Added AC Ajaccio deduction points to automatically relegate.
• ITALY: Serie C: Added various deduction points, both real ones and those to rebalance matches not played against Rimini.
• POLAND: Added Real Fixture & Results for Betclic 1 Liga.
• SCOTLAND: League One: Added Inverness & Hamilton deduction points.
• SCOTLAND: League Two: Added Dumbarton & Edinburgh City deduction points.
• Added Start Dates from January to May.

Fix:

• SWITZERLAND: Fixed a bug that prevented the season from continuing. For now, I've had to remove the real fixture because it's the cause of the problem.

Thanks as always for the support, next monthly update in early February, for any bugs, instead sooner.

Do you know if this has the updated no date changes transfers file or is it still the one last updated in October last year? Thanks

Further up in the comments, you'll find Footy's response, saying they're working on it. When it's updated, I'll let you know here.

Read the discussion above, the file will be updated by Sortitoutsi as soon as they fix it, if the problem is the transfers not being updated as of today's date.

Hey, I'm not criticizing, facts are facts. I'm not going to buy that piece of junk FM26, I'm fine with FM24, not even for free on Steam, I prefer Epic Games. I was just talking to Luis Miguel, Portuguese to Portuguese.

Let's stay calm, there's no point in getting upset over a file.

Just wanted to take a moment to address this comment - I appreciate you've tagged @marcodoglio94, but the issue with the newly-created players being English is nothing to do with his file(s), nor this thread.

The staff team here at SortItOutSI are aware of the issue with player nationality in the current Data Update. It will get resolved as soon as possible. I will make sure that I post in https://sortitoutsi.net/content/60588/data-update-home-thread to announce the fix has been released.

For yourself, or anyone else, who has queries/bugs to report with regards to the SortItOutSI Data Update, the thread I have linked is the best place for those.

I believe many of us still playing FM24 have the same question, and as described in previous posts, we depend on the "no date change file" to use it in conjunction with real results and have FM24 up to date.
 

I would kindly like to ask if this file will actually be updated and made publicly available again. And if so, is there an estimate of when, just so everyone has official information and doesn't cause unnecessary problems or discussions.

Thank you all for your work in keeping FM24 alive, in a way.

I'm aware that the ‘No Date Changes’ update continues to remain static (i.e. non-updated) and it is regrettable, because we do know those who want to use ‘real results’ with future start dates want to do so in conjunction with that version of the update.

Unfortunately, the thing that I can't do is provide a timeline (even estimated) because, at this time, only the site admin can produce that update. The process to update it used to be part of the staff team's daily routine - however, with the automation of the main update, the ‘No Date Changes’ update fell by the wayside.

I will flag it to the team to see if we can get a renewed version of the update pushed out and then see if there is a way to reintroduce it so it is updated on a more systematic basis - I don't know what the possibilities are on that front.

The reason it has not been updated, in my view, is that over the past weeks/months (specifically, since the launch of FM26), we have been tackling - fairly continuously - a variety of challenges associated with managing the main updates for both games. It has, genuinely, been challenging - as there are nuanced data differences, as well as an unpredictable series of updates made by SI for FM26 - which has kept us (but mainly the Site Admin) very busy.

In particular, handling non-playing staff has been quite a challenge - because SI altered some of the data associated with those. As we have to produce both updates from the single source of data that the website uses, accounting for all of those differences is complex. I appreciate that isn't anything to do with the ‘No Date Changes’ update directly, but I just wanted to provide an explanation/justification as to why this has become deprioritised recently.

I agree with everything you said. I'm dependent on that "unchanged date file" for my new save, to restore all the loans.

It could not have been better explained and justified, thank you very much for your position and for clarifying important points for us, it means a lot in this sense. Now we know that the issue is not only known by the Staff, but that there is the possibility of trying some form of help for those who use the file.
 

I completely understand the scenarios you explained and I can only imagine how difficult it must be to deal with this entire process. So in that way, can I just say thank you again for the work you do for the community.
 

Until the time comes, we will wait for something to be announced in this regard and everything is fine that way, everyone here can wait and will live with it, Im pretty sure.

@Lugui @decio luz & any others who have been seeking updates regarding the ‘No Date Changes’ version of the update. I appreciate this is not the official thread for the update, but I know that those using these future start date files may prefer the use of the ‘No Date Changes’ version.

The Site Admin has re-worked it and it is now live again. It is available via https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/no-date-changes-data-update and has been configured to auto-update (like the main update), so we shouldn't fall into this stagnant situation again.

Of course, this has just been reactivated so we would appreciate feedback to verify everything is working as it should be.

Good afternoon, the "No Date Changes" option isn't working properly, the loan information isn't working correctly, it's outdated. For example, Marcus Rashford is listed as Manchester in the game, but he's currently on loan at Barcelona; Orkun Kokcu is listed as Benfica, but he should be on loan at Besiktas, among others.

@decio luz @marcodoglio94 @Lugui & others: I think we have a fairly fundamental issue with the ‘No Date Changes’ file as it stands. I don't actually think the main file ('No Date Changes Contracts.fmf') is being recognised by the game (which would explain why there's no actual transfers/loans in place when attempting to use it).

I don't know any of the technical details behind this at this stage - but evidently there is something that needs to be adjusted. Please bear with us.

Thanks M.C, I've flagged it with @Footygamer on the data update thread. I'm sure he will have it sorted once he gets chance 🙂 

We will revisit it to get it working, yes - however, it isn't created via traditional/manual methods. In this particular case, it is more likely that the structure of the data is corrupted/invalid, so it isn't being recognised by either the game or the Pre-Game Editor at all. As such, it isn't possible to ‘verify’ it via those tools directly.

The Site Admin will investigate when his time allows and we will look to correct whatever has gone wrong.
