do the themes prior to FMs latest update need refreshing or something? I tried to replace my melbourne victory theme with the roma one you also made for me previously, but it wouldnt change? it keeps the mel vic theme..

There is an issue with saves before the update. Just checked a few and this does the same to me. I've tried to recreate the background on a new files to upload but it happens the same. Do me a favour, start a new save with Roma and see if the Roma background works. I've tested on several of my pre update saves and I get the same issue. Looks like I cannot fix this, it must be the save game that's not picking up the background file. sorry

no mate, its the same thing… even a new save will keep my melbourne background in the back… i presume bc the roma one was done pre-update and wont synch with the new update? mate i think i might just send you one generic pic and just use it moving forward for all my saves if thats ok… fm26 is a pure disappointment.

go for it mate, currently working on FM skin builder to try put a full skin together with the help of Darkside. I'll work on the new background you send while I'm learning the ropes on skin builder

I'm having the same issue as before, strangely enough both these work on most of my saves but not the one I've had going since day 1. Some of the saves are pre-update so hope they work. I've done both by my usual method and also done them through skin builder and I get the same results. Hope they work for you mate.

Pleased it’s working for you. I also found sometimes I had to reset the game files before adding the new background file. Can’t work out why they work on some older saves but not all of them. I’m Working with skin builder now so hopefully be able to make these quicker and better. I actually thought skin builder looked complicated but it’s so much better. Working on a couple now where I’m not only adding the backgrounds but changing the font, adding pictures to the start and settings menus.
