Second squad creation

Hy, 

for my second season, i ‘ve received a message saying that i can create a second squad. I acceptrd and have now this 2nd squad. But, it's in the german regional league wich is not playable. So the team didn’t appear in any league or have any match fixtures. 

 

I accepted it becaus i thougt than i can play with this squad and improve my young players. But if i couldn't really play with the squad and the league is not playing, isn't better to let my younger players in youth team wich has a competion? Or, even if i didn't notice any match, my player's ability will improve ?
