Hey all I just made a couple of changes to the tactics form, you should see some help text now reminding you where to screenshot from.
Things have changed a little from FM24 > FM26 but not too much.
For FM26 please remember to upload the Team Shape as “Both” and for instructions click “Team Instructions > All Instructions” to find the instructions shown all on one page for in/out.
Long term i'd like to use AI to auto detect the all the instructions for some more advanced filtering. But unfortunately that's not going to work if people haven't been uploading the right screenshots in the right inputs.
Other than that i'd also appreciate any feedback on how the upload and filtering works right now, i'm happy to make any changes anyone suggests.
I guess I probably need to add a second “Formation” input so it can be entered for both in and out of possession.
I've thought about maybe having the title be auto generated with the text “UNBEATABLE OMG AMAZING TACTIC” stuff as a sub title underneath so it's easier to scan with your eyes e.g.
5-3-2 IN - 4-3-3 OUT - Attacking
TOTALLY BROKEN 87% WIN RATE
Something like that.
But before I make too many suggestions i'd really appreciate input from those who are regularly uploading.
I hope you don't mind i'm tagging anyone who has uploaded more than one tactic in the past 6 months so that you see it.

Thanks for the update. The changes to the form and the added help text are definitely needed since some people tend to upload screenshots quite inconsistently. Here is some feedback regarding your points and a few extra suggestions:
Automatic Titles: I completely agree with this. Using the Formation + Style (e.g., 5-3-2 In / 4-3-3 Out - Attacking) as the primary title is a game-changer. It makes the site look much more professional and saves users from 'clickbait' titles like 'UNBEATABLE!!!'.
Instruction View (Combined vs Both): Regarding the instructions for FM26, the 'Combined' view is becoming quite popular in the community. If people find the 'Both' option confusing, adding a note about using the 'Combined' view as an alternative reference could be very helpful.
Set Pieces (Dead Ball Situations): Since Set Pieces are so crucial in FM26, it might be a good idea to add a reminder or a specific slot for Set Piece instructions/screenshots. A great tactic often fails without the right corner or free-kick setups, so having this standardized would be a huge plus.
AI Detection: The long-term plan for AI filtering sounds amazing. Hopefully, with these new guidelines and help texts, the data quality will improve enough to make that a reality soon.

In fact, I was thinking with the new game we have in possession and out of possession formations so the screenshots needed and titles should change too instead of adding overview, in possession, in transition, out of possession, only overview, in possession and out of possession are needed but you made it even better,
this is a much better way to upload tactics here.
Ah, one question I have is this one: when I test tactics with Manchester Utd, and want to select the team I used for my test in this site, I find it difficult to find Manchester Utd, should I type it differently? Thanks

Our search is actually very advanced and we try to capture as many variations as possible however that's actually not one of them!
