Hi,

 

I subscribe to sortitoutsi but I'm having trouble locating the download updated data file. No doubt its really obvious but can anyone help?

The only one I can see is the “free” one. 

There is one the paid for download but each time I click it, it invites me to pay again?

I have also paid for the data update and I am not seeing it? whats happening??

I'll reply to both of you in a single post, though I think your specific circumstances are slightly different. The first thing to confirm, as an overarching position:

 

There are two separate paid subscriptions/products available via the site. One is the Premium Membership, which “gives access to faster downloads from our servers rather than having to use free mirrors.” With a Premium membership, when you post on the forum you will see that you have an orange ‘Premium’ indicator (which both of you do).

 

The second is the Enhanced Data Update, which “gives you more than just transfers and promotions. It updates attributes throughout the game to make it play more realistically as well as Dynamic Data Files that make each save game unique. Plus it's updated every 20 minutes giving you live squads that reflect real life almost instantly.”

 

The quotes in my post, above, are taken from the respective descriptions of the products, available to see side-by-side if you browse to https://sortitoutsi.net/shop. From this page, you can also see the status of your currently-purchased subscriptions (and manage them accordingly in the Your Orders section of that page).

 

@mudhutter - in your scenario, you have signed up to the Premium Membership but not the Enhanced Data Update, which is why the prompt to sign up appears when you go to the Data Update page.

 

Before you decide whether to go ahead and purchase the second product, please do be advised that irrespective of having access to either product/subscription, there are free alternatives - in the case of the Data Update, it is available further down the page. I appreciate the prompts for payment are quite ‘dominant’ on the page, but if you scroll down the free version is available. In the case of the Premium Membership (not relevant for you, as you're a Premium Member, but included for completeness), free mirrors are presented right near the bottom of the page.

 

@V1P3R-4K - you appear to have an active subscription to both products and therefore I would not expect you to be getting prompted. I know that there have been occasions where the site hasn't reconciled the payment status/membership status, so this could be one of those situations. My only option is to tag the Site Admin, who has access to the back-end and can help resolve any such issue. @Footygamer - one to take a look at here.

 

Unfortunately, I don't personally have any additional access (other than to see the factual status of your membership), so I cannot directly assist any further. But I wanted to give you (both) an acknowledgement from the staff team all the same.

Thanks for the response, Yea its very strange as I got it last year as well and it was instant, But at the moment it is still asking me to pay again, so yea it must be on the back end.
