The Yellow and Green FM Parody

(Game is set with the real world timing and the transfers based on the last update and the Cyprus Database file with some tweaks ( starting dates in order to play the first games in Europa League and the completition name etc.).
 

Built on a clear identity of attractive, front-foot football, smart recruitment, and a deep belief in youth, this new chapter for AEK Larnaca is about more than just winning — it is about shaping a way of playing and a culture that lasts. Discipline off the pitch, intensity on it, and a commitment to developing players who understand what it means to wear the yellow and green define the club’s philosophy from day one.

The primary objective is to establish AEK Larnaca as the dominant force in Cypriot football — a team others prepare for, not underestimate — and, within a few years, to take that authority beyond the island by competing regularly in the UEFA Champions League.

With its distinctive yellow-green identity, the club also recognizes its natural bonds with like-minded teams such as Norwich City and FC Nantes. Strengthening connections with these clubs through potential partnerships or affiliations could create shared pathways for development, culture, and footballing vision as AEK Larnaca continues its rise.

Being united by 2 exting clubs in Larnaca, EPA and Pezoporikos Larnaca, the real aim here is to overcome their predecessors fame, strength and glory. A sleeping GIANT within the game.
A small introduction to the clubs aims and background:

A new start.

Starting the game, the appointed Manager Man Pap, has made his self clear that he can not operate with the DoF model that AEK Larnaca was using for 15 years, with the likes of Jordi Croif, Xavi Roca and others that have been in place. 
The first thing to do was to demolish Xavi Roca as a DoF and TD, and adding the responsibilities to the manager.

The vision of the club is clear, we need to aim high and beyond expectations. 
We have set up the 2 main tactics we will build the team upon, 2 different shapes maybe but the actual philosophy is the same. Both using 2 DM's, which we will talk about later.
While we wait the already acquired transfers that are due to join in later due, the manager has decided that even though the strength of the team is the midfield, we need another DM, a player that can play both as BBM and as a DLP. 
Scouting has been good on that part and suggested Wesley.

 We have made an offer, and if the amount of money the team requires is within the budget, we will try to buy him as soon as the contract will be accepted. 
 

The 2 tactics we will be working on will be a 4231 2DM and a 3241 2DM . Those are custom made tactics based on the real team and how we play.

We currently have the players that can be accomodated to this philosophy, and we aim great things with these 2. 
Also as a manager , I personally want my team to score goals from set pieces , and have set up those along with the long throw attacking.

The Europa League Main Path First Qualifying Draw has not been ideal , but we will try to make the best out of it. Opponent is Partizan Belgrade, with the second leg at least played in front of our fans.

Captain is Angel Garcia Cabezali (67157158) , with playing career with the likes of Villadolid, Wisla Plock, and AEK which is part of the main squad for 5 years.

Of course Danny Henriques, Imad Faraj have transfers that are agreed for this transfer window, we thank them for their offering to the club and wish them well. 

Waldo and Ivanovic joined AEK!

Training has been good for the first days but we lost Angel Garcia to a bruised leg for 2-3 days.
 

Enric Saborit has joined the club with a bit of twist as he expects to be a big part of the team and got number 4. Also Wesley has accepted our offer! 

Hagelmann wants 195K for the buyout, we have also agreed to that and the player joined now and got number 20!

On the other hand we have some interest on Pere Pons, now whether a club will make an offer or not is still in the road. 
The preparation for the Europa League games is going well and we at least expect to be on the competitive part. Truth to be told, Partizan are at least 2-3 steps in front of us right now, and we have to work well in order to hope for a win over the 2 legs. 

We had 2 friendly games , with nice results with the 4231 tactic, Imad Faraj has left the club and we are preparing for the clash with Partizan without any issues , 

ATTACKING BRILLIANCE 
This is the main aspect of the 1st game with Partizan! 1 corner goal and 4 counter attacks!!
 

A game where not even the craziest fan (see the video, that is my best man by the way 😀  😉 , was not able to comprehend what was happening! 

A massive result for the club, regardless if we will make it through or not!
