This tactic turned out to be the most fun tactic i have ever used. And honestly with this tactic i didn't actually think i was going to do well.

I'll explain what every role does and why i chose this role. Also you'll notice that with this role out of possession, i like to keep things simple. Which means i don't like the PFB, SCB, … roles because they disorganise a team's defensive stability.

The Goalkeeper with a BGK role:

I like to be daring and so as such i decided i wanted a goalkeeper that could play the ball out from the back instead of booting the ball to the other side of the pitch. He also most definitively has to be a Sweeper, because i don't want him to just stay on his line and hope for the best. I want him to take command of his territory and fight for every cross, shot and pass in his own box. He has to be the leader on that side of the pitch.

The Full-backs with IWB roles:

Knowing the premier league, most of the times the battle is won in the midfield, rather then on the wings. Which is why i knew, that if I wanted to win the league i would need to convert those full backs to sort of defensive midfielders whilst also taking more risks with their passing, to try and catch other pressing midfielders off guard. Now out of possession they are a simple Full-back. Whilst i do want my players to press high up, i don't want the to recklessly leave their post. I felt if they were PFB they would just leave their post and start roaming around making it easier for the oppositions attackers to score goals.

The Centre-backs with BCB roles:

Like I said, I want them to be daring and as such i opted for the BCB's instead of a normal CB just so they would take more risks. The CB out of possession has basically got the same explanation as the FB role, as that i do not want them to recklessly leave their posts.

The Right-defensive midfielder with a BBP role:

With this role i wanted one of the midfielders to either be attacking or defending at all times and considering that this role is a literal Box-to-box, meaning a defending to attacking role it wasn't a hard choice. I opted for him to be a playmaker rather then a midfielder, because i want him to control instead of looking for his own goal.

The Left-central midfielder with a CM role:

I first tried a DM role, which would've obviously made him a Defensive midfielder. But i found that this didn't work well, so i thought the CM role is basically the same only a bit more attacking and (obviously daring) then a normal DM. With this role he has a lot more freedom, which is why he's also allowed to take more risks with his passing.

The Wingers with a W role:

Simple i know, but i needed some width in this tactic. I needed my wingers to be more like playmakers, getting in crosses, dribbling more, but most importantly stay wider. I could've made them WDF, but i reckon if i did that they would be so focused on getting a goal that they would lose the ball way more often

→ Which would result in less possession and more goals conceded. With the W role they are a bit more conservative, and they would rather look for a cross.

The Attacking midfielder with a FR role:

This is the most important role in this tactic, if this guy doesn't play well nobody does. This is why he's allowed to roam from his position, which would make it easier on the right defensive midfielder to do his thing as a playmaker. He does need to Hold the ball up, because i don't want him to lose the ball in the middle of the park, just for the opposition to release a counter attack on us.

And now finally the Striker with a CHF role:

When the Attacking midfielder decides to roam from his position, the CHF will try to come in a bit deeper. When this does happen, and one of the wingers or midfielders get the ball, the CHF will run into spaces that would make it easier for him to score. And obviously with Haaland it ain't that hard to score in the first place.

In possession:

Right back: take more risks

Centre backs: no extra instructions

Left back: take more risks

Right defensive midfielder: take more risks

Left central midfielder: take more risks

Right winger: stay wider, dribble more, make more runs, take more risks

Attacking midfielder: hold up ball, roam from position

Left winger: stay wider, dribble more, make more runs, take more risks.

Striker: no extra instructions
