indeed, it's sometimes difficult to get the right context especially where we don't have the official resources.

I usually check the official websites or resources (for example it is mandatory to publish it on Public Disclosure Platform in Turkey) 

for the other transfers, I found two sites which are more trustable than X or social media but even here it seems 2 different value for Lookman :

However, I believe that Capology has more realistic and valuable information (they claim that  player's wage is "verified" if provided directly by the club or agent, and/or confirmed by +2 sources. reference : https://www.capology.com/features/#sources) 

Could you share the site/URL for the Turkish platform you mentioned? I know that there is big money in Turkish football and therefore salaries can be quite high - I suspect this is one of those nations that, in-game, would benefit from some manual adjustments. I agree with you about Capology as well.

If I have sources to consult, I'm happy to try and apply changes for some of the high-profile January transfers, for example. Of course, there have been loads so I can't go through every single one - but anything to try and make the data better.

this is the link but here you only see the transfer results of 4 giants from Turkiye (FB, GS, BJK, TS) since they are publicly traded company and obligated to report to the stock exchange. So not all the transfer results are reported but the high signings.

For instance, Fenerbahce announced 11 M euros salary for Kante while 14.4 M euros for signing fee. (for 2.5 years)

So in my save, I adjusted Kante's annual salary as 11 M euros and 4.8 M euros (14.4/3) bonus for each year.

But for the rest of the world, I use Capalogy or sometimes Fabrizio as reference 🙂

could you have a look at the Brackley Town squad please? there's quite a few players who are at the club on loan and are away from the club on loan, as well as still being show as away from the club on loan when they actually aren't (played today)

I re downloaded the update and that seems to be sorted. However, I did notice there was no crowds in the stands? Is that a common thing, or just another word glitch with the update?

@Alan Davies are you trying to use our data update with the new update? We have not released a new update post release, we've paused updating, there's a huge red banner at the top of the page.

Do not try and use the old update with the latest 26.2 patch.

That's what I thought. Never had an issue with it before. Will have to look in my setting etc to see if something has gone wrong 

A new version was uploaded today. It´s fine to run with 26.2 patch?

Just to add to that, I managed to create a save in patch 26.2 using today's updated file, but some duplicate players appeared, one from the original game database and another created by the update. Is this a common error or is it because it hasn't been officially released for 26.2 yet?

I've just redownloaded the data update with the wonderkids face pack but my face packs seem to have a different ID number to the players on the game. is anyone else having the same issue, if so how can you resolve it. Thanks 

is there anyone knowing some python to extract database from FM26 so we can convert and use it for FM 24?

in game editor exports only modified values not the entire or some tables :-/

Yeah we haven't updated our patch to work with the new version, it's going to take some time to compare the DB's and work out which players SI have added and removed.

Notice for all: There is an issue with the (current) latest FM24 Data Update (specifically, version 5263 that was released on 12/03/2026).

It appears there was some level of data-writing failure which has resulted in some more recent transfers/contractual changes not being written to the update file. The result of this, in-game, is that some transfers appear not to have taken place. High-profile player examples include Marc Guehi, Antoine Semenyo & Jorgen Strand Larsen. Managerial changes such as Thomas Frank/Igor Tudor and Ruben Amorim/Michael Carrick are also missing.

For anyon experiencing this, just to confirm: there is no error on the user's side. This will need to be resolved through the next iteration of the update, by the site admin. In the meantime, however, for the latest, fully-working version please go to https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/releases and download V5262 for FM24.3. I have tested and verified that this works and contains all of the expected changes.

Apologies to all for the temporary inconvenience. I've notified the Site Admin of the situation.

Update on the above: The issue with the FM24 Data Update (specifically, version 5263) has now been resolved.

A new update was published approx. 15 minutes ago, which contains the full and correct dataset of changes. Please disregard the advice about using an older instance. At this time, it is recommended anyone playing FM24 reverts to using the latest FM24 Data Update, available via https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update.

Hey, downloaded the update today with new players, but they are completely out of sync. Tried to manually do some offset of values in config files, but it didn't work. Any tips? 

 

Thanks - isn’t there another official update planned for end of March? Are we going to pause the SI data update until then for FM26?

This is known to be the case at the moment - it's a consequence of the recent FM26.2 official update. I believe we still need to re-process the New Player facepack to align to the new UIDs. It'll get taken care of soon enough - unfortunately, whenever SI release an official update that changes the starting UID for newly-created players, this activity needs to take place.

With this latest update adding many new players, including some who were in the newly-created players list, there is a bit more work around de-duplicating and so on, too. The team are on the case.

Hi everyone. Apologies if these questions have been asked before.

I have two questions. 

1. When players transfer to a new club, their salary and squad number aren’t set. Is this how it’s supposed to work, or did I miss a step?
2. Also, I noticed that the Contract Changes.fmf file is quite large (1776 KB), but when I open it, I can only see a modification for Osimhen. Does anyone know why that might be?

I'm starting to play FM 26, a bit dumb question but if I start a normal game, meaning 25 summer, aren't the squads already as they..we're during that time in base game?

Or if I start in late August for example and use the data base here,  or even later, then I already have these transfers that happened in real life?

As a user of these files, I can confirm the files don't include new/updated salaries or squad numbers - they only include the new club and contract date info.

Also, yes the “Contract Changes” file does only contain Osimhen changes and the file itself is also about a year and a half old (one of the originals)….tbh I normally delete it when I donwload the updates etc, same with the standalone Lewis-Skelly and Diego Moreira ones. I imagine it'll probably be removed at some point when there is a tidy up (could have just been overlooked) and it is obselete now anyway. The file size is probably quite large for such a minor change due to the high processing of Osimhen's ego 😂

UPDATE FOR ITALY SERIE C, group C:

They have increased the penalties in the ranking on two clubs for financial problems:

• TRAPANI    got -25 points
• SIRACUSA  got -11 points

Then recap for the penalties in the other groups, in case not updated:

• Serie C, group A: Triestina got  -23 points.
• Serie C, group B: Ternana got   -5 points. Campobasso got -2 points.

Apologies if this has been answered already but I'm still on fm24 and want to rewrite history by keeping a few players like Archie Gray at the club and removing the history of the Spurs move so it's like he never left. I opened the pre game editor and wasn't sure what editor data to load so I went with English (league) but this is showing players like Stuart Dallas still at the club, it's basically the day 1 database. Do I have to edit all of these or am I just in the wrong file? My plan was to save my file as something like Zeeds Mod so it would be read last but if there's no future transfers showing for Archie for example, how can I be sure he wont be at Spurs when I start the game?
