About the Project
This is not a transfer update. Unlike standard updates, 5EDT focuses on the core of the game: Attributes, Current Ability (CA), Potential Ability (PA), Player Positions, Player Reputations. It is a direct conversion that brings official FM26 Player Profiles into FM24. No random editsājust 100% original data ported from the latest game to yours.

ā¢ CA/PA & Attributes: CA, PA, and Attributes of over 40,000 players have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24.
ā¢ Player Positions: Positions for more than 2,000 players have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24.
ā¢ Player Reputations: Player Reputations over 6,000 players have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24.
ā¢ Club Budgets, Reputations & Morale: Club balances, transfer budgets, reputations, and morale have been converted from FM26 to FM24. Nearly 40 leagues have been completed, including some lower divisions of the major leagues.
ā¢ Player Salaries (wages): Player Salaries (wages) for over 40 leagues have been updated from FM26 to FM24. I believe it can work with other wage update files without any errors.

ā¢ Wonderkids & Missing Players: More than 400 Wonderkids and missing players from FM26 have been recreated and are available as an optional add-on. (And Faces)
ā¢ Retired Players: Players who retired or should no longer be in the database according to 2026 data have been updated/removed.
What makes this update special?
Authentic Attribute & CA/PA Conversion:
I have updated over 40,000 players using official FM26 data. Every attribute (Finishing, Passing, Pace, etc.) and CA/PA (Current/Potential Ability) has been meticulously converted to match the official FM26 database exactly.
Important Note & Recommendations:
This file focuses exclusively on Attributes, CA/PA, and New Wonderkids. It is designed to be fully compatible with your favorite transfer update patch. For the ultimate FM24 experience, I highly recommend using this database alongside a Transfer Update, but this is entirely optionalāthe choice is yours!
ā ļø CRITICAL NOTE for Compatibility: ā ļø
Your game language must be set to English while creating a new career and selecting the files. If the language is not English during this setup phase, Player CA-PA, Attributes, etc. will not update. However, as soon as your save file is created, the language no longer matters; you can switch to any language you want and continue playing your save without any issues.
New Wonderkids are no longer included within the main files. They are now provided as a single, separate file.
How to Install:
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:
Your game language MUST be set to English while creating a new career and selecting the editor files. If itās not in English during setup, Player Attributes will NOT update. Once the save is created, you can switch back to any language you like; it will not affect your saved game.
Installation Guide
1.Download and Extract: Download the files and extract the contents.
2.You will find the main file (5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN) along with other optional files. You can install the 5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN file, plus any other .fmf files you wish to use.
3. Move the Files: Copy all selected .fmf files to the following folder: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data
4.Launch & Set Language: Open FM24 and ensure the game language is set to English.
5. Start a New Career: Select "New Career" and click on the Database menu in the top right corner.
6. Select Files: Ensure that 5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN and any other optional .fmf files you want to include are ticked/selected.
7. Final Step: After the career setup is complete and your game is saved, you can switch back to your preferred language (e.g., Turkish). You can load and play your save in any language from now on.

Please note: The loading time for the league selection screen and the new career creation process (while the database is being initialized) may vary and could be extended depending on the number of changes and your computer's performance.
When starting a new career and selecting the editor files, please make sure your game language is set to English!
-The 'Retired-Remove_ETC_Changes' update has been added. This is an optional update. If you want an update for the files you use in FM24 that removes retired players or those who are no longer in the game, you can use this. However, this update is optional, and if you are already using a similar update, I wouldn't recommend using this one. Changes have been made to more than 400 players.
-Face pack for wonderkids and newly added players is now available. Installation guide included inside.
Footballer positions update; The positions of more than 2,000 players have been updated in FM24 based on the official FM26 database and are now available. In addition to players' CA-PA and attributes, their positions have also been updated to match the official FM26 data.
About Wonderkids&Missing; If you are using the Sortitoutsi FM24 transfer update or files that add new staff, do not use my Wonderkids mod simultaneously to avoid bugs and player duplicates. My mod is compatible with TheNotoriousPr0ās update. Essentially, avoid mixing my wonderkids mod with any other updates that include new wonderkids or staff.
Footballer reputations: Player reputations have been converted and updated from FM26 to FM24. The data for over 6,000 players has been updated using FM26 data. You can use this by downloading the file named '5edT_Players_Reputations_Update'. Enjoy!

Hi @5edT , will you be updating any of these files after the major FM26 update comes out on Monday, as I have read there is going to be over 5m database changes/updates, and I imagine there will be a lot of changes to player attributes in particular?
Personally I don't think I'm ready to put my trust and time into FM26 yet, even after the forthcoming update š

The CA/PA data and attributes have been updated for FM24 based on the FM26 Winter Update. Please delete the old '5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN.fmf' file and use the new '5edT_v3-CA-PA_Attributes_EN.fmf' instead.

anyone have issues with Sortitoutsi data update files?
i create a new game in english but i have no updated transfers ex: Rafa on Benfica or guehi on City (i only use your file CA-PA v3 from your work, the other ones i dont use, so i dont have duplicate wonderkids for example)

Sortitoutsiās FM24 update is okay but missing quite a bit. Youāre better off with 'fmtransferupdate'(website). The trick is to combine their FM24 update (for 2025 moves) with the FM26 update file. Surprisingly, the FM26 file works perfectly on FM24 when used together. Iāve tested it myself and itās honestly the best way to get all the latest transfers!

This is probably not the thread for queries/concerns related to the SortItOutSI Data Update.
However, the issue you are/were experiencing was the result of an issue with the data processing that took place yesterday/earlier today. If you have a look at the following post and the follow-on reply, it clarifies the situation and - thankfully - the issue is resolved and the latest update has all of the submitted changes included:

@5edT - I am curious regarding the delta/what is perceived to be missing versus the other site you mention. Not through any strict loyalty to this website - but just because I have always considered the transfer/contract coverage included in SortItOutSI's Data Update pretty comprehensive. When I look at the numbers published on their site for volume of changes, it is tiny in comparison to this site (for example). Do they have more transfers/contract updates? Or do they absorb more different types of data changes? Or both/something else?

To be honest, I discovered this as an alternative option because there were times when I used or tested the sortitoutsi FM24 transfer update and found some transfers missing, or had users report similar issues to me in the comments.
Iām sure the sortitoutsi update is a high-effort project that deserves respect, but I think you might have misunderstood me. The 'fmtransferupdate' site doesn't actually make such a claim anyway. While transfer work for FM24 officially ends in 2025, I simply wanted to let people know that the transfer update being made for FM26 can be used alongside both of them. That is the essence of the matter!

The reason why setting the game language to English is mandatory during the new career setup process is actually this: in the game, data changes are sometimes defined by numbers, but other times they are defined as text. Essentially, if certain data is modified in a specific language, those changes are tied to that language. If you don't use the matching language, some of those data modifications simply won't reflect in the game.
