Hey!

SO this is my first foray into Football Manager Editing.

I've always wanted a long-term save file with Kernow as a nation and buffed performances for Celtic Nations.

A proud Cymro myself, I have also always wanted a stronger Welsh League System

I have uploaded the files here that revamp the entire British and Irish System, adding Kernow as a nation.

I am a total novice so there are some errors around Discipline and fixture arrangement, but they don't make the game any less playable / fun.

I would welcome feedback on fixes - this truly is my first time doing this after years as a quiet observer!

Included is as follows:

NOTABLE CHANGES:

  • Transfer windows changed to be prior to leagues

ENGLAND

  • Revamped English League System, fully playable down to Division 10
    • Championship reduced to 20 teams
    • Leagues 1-2 rebranded into Pro Leagues and Pro League 3 added
    • Challenge League (With insane playoff system) added to Step 5 with Jersey Bulls, FC Isle of Man and Guernsey becoming franchise teams
    • New Lower League system and structure - more regional leagues (relegation/FA Cup participation disabled Tier 10)
    • 100 Point deduction for Manchester City from 2028 (if you load all leagues, City will gradually be relegated down the pyramid)
    • 50 Point deduction for Chelsea from 2030
    • CONS: No established Reserve structure - too much work for me to be bothered
    • CONS: Finances are very high for most clubs due to fictional implications of PremFliX

  • Revamped FA Cup with boosted finances (distributed realistically across the football league if PremFlix became a thing!)
    • Old Firm and Exiles play a part in the tournament
    • All teams enter at Round 1 with higher stadium team playing at home - this throws up some awesome fixtures!
    • Some seeding later on in the tournament to make games more difficult
    • Neutral venues return at Quarter Final

  • Revamped English Cup System
  • new Invicta Cup competed between bottom 12 of Premier League and 20 Championship Teams - FATE ACTIONS are set to qualify the winner to the Conference League but this is temperamental and does not always work
  • Revamped League Cup system, replacing the EFL Cup
  • FA Vase pulls champion of Gibraltar into tournament (there is a stubborn season delay error with this that I've struggled to fix)

WALES

  • Fully revamped Welsh League System, fully playable to Step 5
    • Exiles returned home, Spring League contested between Exiles, TNS and franchise clubs: Dragons + Ospreys
    • Professional league system between Tiers 1-3 with teams generally linked to counties of Wales
    • More realistic Welsh Cup
    • Champions League style Welsh Premier Cup for Tier 2+3 teams
    • Regional Tier 4 and Tier 5 with local cups and Ardal Cup for teams at this step
    • Welsh Cup Winners' Cup which takes winners of 8 regional cups and pits them together in early season tournament.
    • CON: Finances are slightly unrealistic at the top, but I found that teams were going into administration too easily
    • CON: Lots of games in lower tiers
    • Welsh Teams at Tier 1 participate in Celtic Super and Celtic Premier League (outlined below)

SCOTLAND

  • Revamped Scottish League System and Scottish League Cup (playable to Step 4)
  • Scottish Teams at Tier 1 participate in Celtic Super and Premier Leagues early season (outlined below)

IRELAND

  • Unified Irish League System based around GAA.
  • Three new tiers where Irish Counties play one another - these are all professional teams and players and staff have been assigned from previous league
  • No relegation from Tier 3 to separate the Professional and Amateur Game
  • Playable to Tier 5 with original NIFL Premiership and LOI Premier now being regional leagues
  • Northern Ireland have been replaced by Cornwall
  • Northern Irish players and staff have mostly been assigned Irish nationalities
  • Irish Cup participated between 32 professional counties
  • Celtic Super/Premier Leagues (outlined below) are tethered to this nation - there is an minor issue around this ever being in trophy cabinets.

CELTIC SUPER LEAGUES

  • Celtic Super League and Celtic Premier League (takes place over the Autumn and Winter months before regional Premier Leagues)
    • SUPER LEAGUE: Contested between Top 3 of Scottish, Irish, Welsh systems + Truro CitY
    • PREMIER LEAGUE: Contested between the best of the rest and FC ISLE OF MAN
    • CON: If FC Isle of Man qualify for Europe, there is MASSIVE fixture congestion on verge of game breaking standard.

KERNOW

  • New nation created in shell of Northern Ireland
  • Truro City and other English Peninsula teams moved to Kernow Premier League
  • Truro City participate in Celtic Super League
  • Kernow Challenge Cup takes place for other teams during early season (winner qualifies for Europe)

Hopefully you enjoy it!

If you find a glitch or an error I haven't found or you think I haven't identified, give me a shout!

Looks fun. A shame you haven't gone deeper into Scottish non-league, but I'll give it a go.

Right, joined Man City; gone on holiday until June 2028. Let's see what's in store with this 100 point penalty!
