The AFC Richmond & Ted Lasso database is back!!
After my FM24 AFC Richmond & Ted Lasso database had been downloaded almost 8,000 times from various different sources, it was only natural that I'd bring back the database for FM26. All details are based on the Ted Lasso end of series 3 (almost exactly).
As with the FM24 database, the database is fully detailed, as much as possible. The database includes the full list of players, including playing history has been included as much as possible. There is also the inclusion of a number of U21 and U18 custom players (a few Easter eggs in there). There is a full list of club staff (including the return of Nate Shelley). Again, there is the inclusion of reporters such as Trent Crimm, Lloyd Griffith, etc., with Keeley Jones the only character who doesn't have an active role at the club.
The download also includes 2D and 3D kits which are fully working. However, on the main home screen, the kits will not look to have the correct colours, but in-game and in-match they are correct. The download also includes the club logos and backgrounds. 2D kits have no issues.
Also included is a full face-pack kit with all first team players, staff, U21s and U18s.
There is one noticeable current flaw in the database which will be rectified in the very near future. In the player history screen, it appears that every player started their career at AFC Richmond for some unknown reason, despite seeing a history of other clubs (for example, Jamie Tartt apparently started his career at Richmond and his history will note that he joined Richmond from Man City). A future update will have this corrected, and is currently in the process of being built.
The club are managed by Ted Lasso, despite him leaving the club at the end of season 3 to see Roy take over. In a planned-future database update, Ted Lasso will be included as the manager of the Richmond Womens team, as has been rumoured for Season 4 of the TV show, as well as much accurate information of the Womens team that we can get.
To install the database and all the graphics simply:
- Extract the files from the WinRAR file into a folder.
Copy and paste the files in the “editor data” folder into your “C:\…Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\editor data” folder
Copy and paste the “graphics” folder into your “C:\…Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26” folder
Open Football Manager 26 and start a new career game - In the top right hand corner, open the “database” drop-down menu and put a check mark beside the “AFC Richmond & Ted Lasso FM26 V1.0” option or “AFC Richmond No Ted Lasso FM26 V1.0”(whichever option you prefer)
- Proceed through the rest of the options at your own preferences and begin the new career

Just downloaded this and tried to play it !!! Absolutely Shocking ! Although the Club Faces, Kit's & Badge are correct the Team Players are so Overpowered it's practically impossible to sign anybody good enough to improve the squad with the transfer budget its been given (£13 Million).Unless you'll sell off some of the weaker players and use that for Transfers ! Your best to start with the Vanilla Leagues as in my save Chelsea and Spurs have been demoted to lowest tier in Football !! Because i've since found out its my mod of leagues which goes down to level 10, But there are some new Teams in Premiership ? so its a bit different lol Looks like an error has been made swapping out some big clubs for smaller clubs ? The Wage budget is ok, but you'll spend most of it trying to secure your youth players (there all Famous YouTubers) whom all will become World Class !! Great idea, Great on the Graphics Side but Bad Execution on Players Progression & Economy !!
