🚀 NEW in Version 1.60: The "World Cup" Update
With this update, we have fixed the DLL bug resulting from the new FM26 update. Additionally, we have implemented improvements—particularly to the Easy Mode—and, just in time for the World Cup, introduced custom missions and TV graphics designed to match the new World Cup theme.

⚽ World Cup Special: Dedicated World Cup skin with custom TV graphics, exclusive missions, rewards, and localized commentary lines.
🔗 BepInEx Integration (Direct Connection): The tool now communicates directly with the FM26 engine. This means: zero delay, no text recognition errors, and 100% precision.
✨ Easy Mode: One click and you're done. The tool automatically recognizes everything in the background: teams, lineups, time, and tactics. Your only job is to play FM!
🏆 Top Match Mode: Receive deep AI analysis at halftime and after the final whistle. The commentators adapt their personality based on the importance of the match.
🌍 14+ Languages: German, English, French, Dutch, Italian, Turkish, Polish, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Ukrainian & Danish.

⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE
The new BepInEx interface and the associated .dll file work exclusively with Football Manager 2026! For FM24 or older versions, you must continue to use the Tesseract OCR mode (see below).
Always restart the program when changing languages or switching between Tesseract and BepInEx modes!
📁 Installation Guide (Step-by-Step)
The download contains three folders. For FM26, proceed as follows:
Step 1: The Commentary Mod (Folder 1)
This folder contains the actual application (.exe). You can place this folder anywhere you like (e.g., on your desktop). Simply start the tool by double-clicking the .exe.
Step 2: BepInEx Base (Folder 3)
Are you already using the Stadium Mod by BassyBoy?
YES: Perfect, BepInEx is already installed! Skip directly to Step 3.
NO: Copy the contents of Folder 3 directly into the main directory (root folder) of your FM26:
Steam: Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 26
Epic Games: Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\FootballManager26
Xbox Gamepass: Xboxgames\Football Manager 26
Step 3: The Mod File / .dll (Folder 2)
You MUST copy the file FM26CommentarySender.dll into the following path structure: 👉 .../Football Manager 26/BepInEx/Plugins/FM26CommentarySender/FM26CommentarySender.dll

🧠 Two Operating Modes: How to use the tool
1. Mode: BepInEx API (ONLY for FM26)
This is the most modern method.
Advantage: Auto-setup recognizes teams automatically, no scan errors, full automation.
Setting: Set the switch in the tool to "Mode: BepInEx API".
2. Mode: Tesseract OCR (For FM24 and older)
If you are playing an older FM version:
In-game Setting: You MUST activate the "Black & White Commentary" option in the FM settings under "Match"!
Setup: Select the path to your tesseract.exe within the tool. The BepInEx interface does not work here.
🚀 How does the new "Easy Mode" (BepInEx) work?
Previously, the tool had to scan your screen (OCR / Tesseract) to read the text. That's over now! When you toggle the switch in the tool to "Mode: BepInEx API" and activate "Easy Mode", the mod now communicates directly with the FM26 engine.
Your Advantages:
Auto-Setup: The tool automatically recognizes which teams are playing (Home & Away) and enters the names by itself!
Sit Back: The tool runs fully automatically in the background. You no longer need to enter anything or calibrate. Your only job is to play FM!
(Easy Mode can be enhanced with various features in the tool, e.g., Top Match Mode, Duo Commentators, and much more!)
🎙️ Additional Features for Fans
High-End Voices (ElevenLabs): Use ultra-realistic sound for your commentators.
🤬 Hooligan Mode: Turn off neutrality! Your commentator becomes a fanatical ultra, insults the referee, and passionately celebrates your team.
📻 Live Conference: Hear goals from other users' matches worldwide ("Goal in the conference from User XYZ!").
📖 Career Memory: The AI remembers past duels ("Last time there was a 2:0 victory here...").
🚀 Quick Start Guide
Unpack: Extract the entire download folder.
Choose Mode: FM26 (BepInEx) or FM24 (Tesseract).
Start: Open the FM26_MatchDay_LiveCommentary_Mod.exe.
Action: Click "Load Match" and at kickoff click "Anpfiff" (Kickoff).

Hey does using skins in fm26 affect the beplnx plug in because it just errors when it tries to read the commentary I will get match intros and time cues but not other info

I have downloaded and extrackted the files, but th commentary only says, that Is A KICKOFF and THE BALL IS ROLLING and then it only tells me what match time it is and nothing else? Could you help me? Thank you.

Skins shouldn't have any effect on this, unless the skin hides the comment widget. Is that the case?

Love this mod. Is there a way to chnage the commentator's voice, having a german accent in my lower league england save is taking me out of the immersion.

Yes, of course! In the program, go to Settings in the tabs at the top -> scroll down a bit to Audio & Voices! There you can select, test, and edit different voices!
Quick tip: if you've changed the language, restart the program so the voices update!

I´ve Downloaded the files, placed them correctly and in the app selected the easy mode and all the commentator says is that THE REF STARTS THE MATCH and THE BALL IS ROLLING and then match time stamps.
I am really sorry for being a troublemaker.

Hi, I solved the problem by setting the game to full screen (I was playing in windowed mode).
Now the commentary works, but I have two problems: the commentary is always delayed, and when teams score, the goals aren't highlighted (the commentators don't comment on the goals).

Im back to give it another shot. Kudos for listening to my prevous feedback and making it more simple to use!
Its not working though or at least not properly.
The commentator had two comments to say during the game 😀 I of course cannot say if he just had a “bad day at the office” or was stunned by the game at hand..
"The technical level is great" at about 60 mins and “We are heading into the last 10 minutes” at around 80 mins was everything he had to say before calling it a day.
Other than that - GREAT WORK! I have attached the error log.

Are you playing in fullscreen mode? Or windowed mode? I've heard reports from people who are having problems with that.
If that doesn't help, try selecting the Tesseract path again. Does it work now?

No, actually, that's not part of the tutorial. I suspect it's just a bug that's hard to fix somehow!
I already explained this to you in a previous version, hence my "again":
Go into the program:
First, switch the toggle in the top right corner from Bep In Ex to Tesseract.
Go to settings. There you'll find the Tesseract path. Click on it and navigate to the Tesseract folder -> the folder inside -> select tesseract.exe.
Switch back to Bep In Ex (top right). Now test it.
Does it work now? Please let me know.

@Joni9 Another report. In Italian, the 68° minute is expressed as 68 degrees minute. (this is an example, but it's like this with all the minutes)
I'll add that the commentary wasn't working yesterday, but after rebooting it worked today. So, in the tutorial, you need to add the recommendation to use full-screen resolution, and after installing the commentary, you need to reboot.

Hi, after installing the mod, did you try restarting your PC? For me, after restarting and in full screen, in easy mode, the mod works.
