Romanian Cup - Format Overhaul Update for version 26.02
This update brings a much-needed overhaul to the Romanian Cup format. The original database setup was plagued by hardcoded match rules that forced unrealistic group pairings and scheduling issues. These have now been disabled and replaced with a cleaner, more authentic structure inspired by real-world competition formats.
Key changes include:
- Removal of Custom Match Plan rules that caused cross-group match chaos.
- Introduction of a three-pot seeding system, mirroring the actual draw process for the groups.
- Logical match pairings within groups, with each team facing one opponent from each pot.
- Proper scheduling and TV coverage for all Group and Knockout Stage matches.
- Accurate Quarter-Final progression: A1 vs B2, B1 vs A2, C1 vs D2, D1 vs C2.
