FM24 Data Update - sporting nationality not updated

Hi there. I’m currently playing FM24, focusing on international management. I recently installed the FM24 Data Update, but I’ve noticed that many players are not up to date regarding their sporting nationality (for example, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is still listed as English instead of Congolese, Ibrahim Maza is still German instead of Algerian).

 

I tried submitting changes via https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/attributes, but they were rejected. I also attempted to edit nationalities directly in the Player Attributes file using the editor, but it causes a lot of lag.

 

Is there any way or mod that allows player sporting nationalities to be properly updated?

Unfortunately, submissions to alter national allegiance/nationality is not a functionality that exists in the Data Update - the only way that this could be included is via a manual file and it isn't something we've been able to produce (yet).

 

The reason your submissions were rejected where you set their national allegiance is because those fields relate to setting the jobs for Non-Player people, rather than setting their nationality as such.

 

The only reasonable way for us to include this would be through a manual file. I will add this to the to-do list but one of the challenges would be sourcing the data to actually achieve it. The best I can think of is to setup a dedicated thread and ask for the community to submit their proposals, with sources, and we then build a file out from that. I'll give it some thought as I would need to be able to make sure I can keep up with the requests, otherwise it would be unfair on all contributors.
