Welcome to the ultimate content pack for all fans of Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond in Football Manager 2026! This modification fundamentally transforms your game and brings the entire atmosphere of the hit series directly to your screen – from detailed stadiums to custom storylines.
1. Feature Overview & Mod Contents
3D Stadium & Matchday Atmosphere:
Nelson Road (3D Stadium): Selhurst Park has been completely rebuilt into the legendary home of AFC Richmond, Nelson Road. (Requires BassyBoy 3D Stadion Mod)
Crowd Kits & Choreo: Custom fan clothing and visual choreographies in the stands ensure an authentic stadium feel. (Requires BassyBoy 3D Stadion Mod)
Walkout & Tifo Mod (by Declan Campion): Includes custom Richmond Tifos and the original Ted Lasso Intro Walkout Music for both the men's and the brand-new women's team. (Full Mod Recommended)
Characters & Cosmetics:
Ted Lasso Outfit Bundle: Give your manager the exact appearance of Ted Lasso – including the iconic, authentic mustache and the official AFC Richmond track jacket.
Graphics & Skin Customizations:
Complete Graphics Megapack: Contains official Richmond player faces, the club logo, and the current kits (including the exclusive, freshly leaked kit from the Season 4 trailer).
Skin Backgrounds: In-game background images have been fully adapted to the Ted Lasso theme. (Recommended: CTRL 26 - 1.6 Skin by Matt)
Two Dedicated Databases (Season 4 Ready):
The databases are partially based on the excellent groundwork by KorkyBlues ("AFC Richmond & Ted Lasso Are Back - The Complete Database Has Returned!"), but have been massively overhauled and improved. All fake players have been removed. You have the choice between two scenarios when starting a new save:
1 TED LASSO MALE: Take on the classic role as manager of the AFC Richmond men's team.
2 TED LASSO FEMALE: Looking for a completely new challenge just like in the upcoming Season 4? Manage the newly integrated AFC Richmond women's team. Known actresses have already been added to the squad (currently using the actresses' real names).
Note on Updates: The database is continuously maintained and will be updated as soon as new information or the first episodes of the new season are released.
2. System Requirements & Plugins
To ensure all visual and audio features of the modification work smoothly, the following prerequisites must be met beforehand:
BepInEx Framework: Strictly Required for the 3D stadium, Tifos, and walkout music.
BassyBoy's "FM26 3D Stadium Megapack": Strictly Required, as the Nelson Road rebuild is directly based on this data.
CTRL 26 - 1.6 Skin (by Matt): Highly Recommended for the best visual presentation and correct placement of the custom skin backgrounds.
3. Step-by-Step Installation Guide
The installation of the modification is logical. Please follow the path instructions exactly to avoid errors and ID conflicts.
Step 1: Main Game Directory (Steam Path) This step installs the 3D stadium, Tifos, walkout music, and the Ted Lasso Outfit Bundle. Extract the downloaded ZIP file. Locate the folder named Football Manager 26 inside it. Copy this folder and paste it into your Steam root directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26
Careful with the folder structure! Make absolutely sure you do not double-nest the folders.
WRONG: ...\common\Football Manager 26\Football Manager 26
Step 2: Graphics Directory (Documents Path) This step adds all player faces, logos, and kits to your game. Copy the graphics folder from the download package and paste it into your local Sports Interactive directory:
C:\Users\jrudo\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\graphics
Careful with the folder structure! Again, do not create a double-nested folder.
WRONG: ...\Football Manager 26\graphics\graphics
Step 3: Activate Database (Editor Data)
Before starting the game, choose which scenario you want to play: MALE (Men's Team) or FEMALE (Women's Team). Copy the desired database file (and ONLY ONE of the two) into the following folder:
C:\Users\jrudo\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\editor data
Important Compatibility Note: When creating your save game, do NOT use any other database mods that also create new people, clubs, or stadiums! This can lead to incorrect internal ID assignments. In the worst case, player faces will be completely mixed up, or the 3D Nelson Road stadium will be incorrectly used by a completely different team.

Hey great compilation of work. Can I just ask, have you noticed that the LED ad-boards are a bit glitchy?
Also, how do I activate the tifo? Have started a few games, and haven't seen it in the stadium yet? I presume it is just at the beginning? Not sure if this is a config issue? If so, do you manually have to put this folder ….. team_tifos_mapping.txt into the config folder at this location ……………

I haven't encountered that issue with the LED ad boards myself yet. Could you try testing it during a match at Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace)? If the same thing happens there, I probably won't be able to fix it on my end. (Generally speaking, all I did with this stadium was swap out the textures to make it look like the AFC Richmond stadium.)
The tifos should actually appear automatically! No, the mappings are properly included and placed in the correct locations.
However: There should be a file named "com.fm26mods.tifos" located in the config folder—you could try tweaking some settings in there!
If that doesn't work, have you downloaded the Tifo Mod (linked at the bottom of this mod's page)? If not, download it for free from there and give it another shot; everything should definitely be working by then. 🙂

Tried starting a save with the Female Database. None of the of them have any “Trained in Nation” or “Trained at Club” data it seems which means they are not counted as Homegrown for Squad Rules purposes. According to the league rules I need 15 homegrown players minimum, so it seems I need to sign pretty much an entire squad of players right off the get go to be able to meet the squad rules to be able to play in the league.
Also two of the players apparently don't have work permits and are not able to play for the club at all.

Firstly Thank you for some amazing Work (love the Easter egg of Teds son Henry being in the under 18's men's team). Buttttt There are some errors
Firstly the women's kit is mapped to the men's team and visa versa, (i fixed this myself be re-mapping them), Secondly i can't get the faces to map or show into the game. so i'm playing with blank faces. Plus if anybody wants real immersion make your Ted Lasso after you've loaded the database, then the option for his coat and tash are there and make him 6'1, DOB Sept 13th 1975, Born Kansas, USA.

So After seeing mufcchampmanfan post about the women's team problem , I've Playing about with the database & i manged to get most of the girls registered as home grown, which gives you a total of 11 Home grown players so you only need to go sign 4 players !! Also using the manager Mod i got Ted Lasso's face as my manager & even gone and made an away and 3rd kit for the Women using FM Kit Creator and mapped it correctly !! Still not figured out how to map the faces Correctly yet !!!

Adjust the IDs for the players (you can see the IDs next to the player names in your save file!). Then, edit all player images in the faces/Richmond folder and run the 1Klick-config.xml-Universal.py file once, pressing enter. This will automatically create the config.xml file! You just need to restart FM!
