FM05-24 3D Kits
3D Kits are special kits designed to make the match engine look even better, with the players wearing customised and improved kits on the pitch.
These will only work with FM24 and earlier. They will not work with the most latest unity versions from FM26 onwards.

1. Extract folder to Documents\Sport Interactive\Football Manager 20##\graphics\kits\put in here!
( If there is no graphics folder there, create "graphics" )
2. FM05-24 ONLY click 'Preferences' > 'Interface' > untick 'Use caching to decrease page loading times' & tick 'Reload skin when confirming changes' > click 'Reload Skin' for the first time.

Upon reading the step 1b the .fmf file is missing… any idea where this is located or was this step not actually needed ??

I presume you don't have these for FM26 in the different format pal do you, although I understand there are some issues getting them to show up in-game currently ………….

When I'm playing the World Cup, it loads a weird kit. So for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to be working properly.

same, I checked the file names and ids and the England kits have some weird greeny brown left sleeve and a few other kits have similar issues, ive no idea why as the id's all match

Yes, that's it!! That's exactly what happened to me, hahaha. I'd say it happened with all the kits.
