Hello Football Manager 2023 enthusiasts! To refresh your experience on the FM23 platform, the latest data update (as of May 14, 2026) is now officially available. This patch brings the modern football atmosphere of the 25/26 season directly into your game.
What’s New in the May 14, 2026 Update:
2026 Transfer Updates: All the latest deals and moves updated to reflect the current market.
Attribute & PA Adjustments: Tweaked stats and Potential Ability (PA) for select wonderkids to align with real-world performances.
New Youth Intake: Added a significant number of young talents integrated from the FM26 database.
Special Thanks: A huge shout-out to FM Match Lab Team for their incredible work on the transfer data, which allowed me to integrate and bring this update to FM23.
Important Note: As this is a custom transfer update for the 25/26 season, some minor bugs or inconsistencies may occur. Please double-check the database before starting a long-term save.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide:
The installation process is straightforward, following the standard database modding procedure:
Download & Video Guide: Click the link below to watch the tutorial and find the download links in the description.
Copy Files: Copy the downloaded .fmf files.
Paste Directory: Navigate to the following path on your PC: Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2023 / editor data (If the editor data folder doesn't exist, simply create it manually).
Launch Game:
Open FM23 and select Start New Game.
In the Database dropdown, ensure the new update files are checked.
Use Advanced Setup to verify there are no database conflicts before finalizing your save.
Performance Tip: Due to the extensive data included in this file, the initial loading screen may take longer than usual, especially on lower-end hardware.
