Spent a lot of time to remove the contracts of almost all players in FM26.
There are still around 2900 players still in their clubs being both players and staff that will require even more work removing them one by one so I didn't bother to do it.
It will take about an hour to set up the career, sadly there is nothing I can do to fix it

If I'm not mistaken, do you mean you released players one by one? Can't imagine how much work there's…
Suppose the pre-game editor can edit multiple players at once?

Never use either, so not familiar with them, but hopefully, they can do the job and save you some time…

For players I used mass edit (editing 10k players by one time), but it is still a lot of work (close to 50 times, i think)
But this doesn't work for “Player/Non-Player” entries (like some 37 y.o. player from Leeds is a U18 coach at the same time)
This type of entries requires one-by-one editing if I want some of them (probably over-35) become coaches and the rest be released as players
