Complete FIFA World Cup 2026™ Experience
The headline feature of Update 26.3.2 is the completion of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ international management experience. Managers can now take charge of any of the 48 qualified nations competing in the expanded tournament.
The update also introduces a new option allowing players to begin their save with the officially confirmed World Cup squads, making it easier than ever to jump straight into the action and recreate (or rewrite) the biggest tournament in world football.
International Management Changes
- Added the option to start a save with the confirmed FIFA World Cup 2026™ squads
- Licensed kits added for all 48 qualified FIFA World Cup 2026™ nations
- All 48 qualified teams are now fully playable
Sports Interactive notes that the 26-player squads included in the update are accurate as of 1 June. Any injuries, suspensions, or squad changes occurring after that date have not been incorporated.
Stability and Technical Improvements:
Alongside the international management additions, Update 26.3.2 addresses several technical issues reported by the community:
- Resolved a crash when assigning squad numbers to specific players
- Fixed a crash caused by selecting the “Wnt” icon on player profiles where the player has no club
- Fixed a rare crash related to changing contract expiry dates in the Player Database screen
- Resolved multiple crashes affecting long-term online saves
- Prevented a soft lock that could occur when using the space bar to continue in dual-management saves
- Fixed an issue in Hotseat mode where the Portal interface could incorrectly appear during matches after half-time
Available Now
Update 26.3.2 is available to download now across all supported platforms except Nintendo Switch, where the update is scheduled to arrive later this month.
For players interested in international management, this update represents the most complete World Cup experience available in Football Manager 26, with every qualified nation now fully licensed, playable, and ready to lead on football’s biggest stage.
