Hi all, for the update, have you also changed the transfer budgets and wage bills available for clubs? Because being a fan of Racing Club de Lens in France, they sold a lot of their very good players during the last winter transfer window, for example Khusanov to Manchester City for €40M + €10M in bonuses so following your update, the Lens club should still have quite a bit of money and wage bill to recruit. Hello friends.I would like to ask a question to you. I want to start a save in FM 2024, in real-world mode, but I would like to obtain some patch updates with the transfers occurring on the original dates, as in the real world.I intend to start the save in July 2024 and keep playing as the squads are updated.Does anyone know if this is possible? Is there a pack that only updates transfers according to the dates?Another question, can transfers only be made using the editor? Wouldn’t it be possible to write them in a file (xml)?

Hi! the last patch is not working.When i want to to start to new game.I couln't go to choose to database computer got slower and freezes.I can't load the new database but i tried without this patch i could create new game.

@wfm18 not sure if that's poorly phrased or a misunderstanding but it's never ever worked.

I guess I could try but i've got enough requests to add/fix stuff for the original mode at the moment i'm not sure I could find the time.

I have done everything and made sure I have selected the files when starting up the game but none of the promotions or relegations have happened??

If you’re referring to the upcoming 2026/27 season, then that is still being worked on. Many, many leagues haven’t completed yet (especially those with playoffs to decide promotion/relegation) and those that have - such as England - have literally finished within the last 24 hours or so.

I’m playing FM26 and want to start a brand-new save with Bayern Munich. I’ve subscribed to the "Enhanced Football Manager Data Update," and I want all transfers to take place in-game at the actual real-life times.
When setting up the save—specifically where you select the countries—there is an option to choose the transfer mode. You can choose between three modes:
- Original
- Real World
- Your World
If I want transfers to happen in-game at the real-life times, I should technically select "Real World" mode (the current data update file is in the "editor data" folder).
Am I correct in understanding that "Real World" mode doesn't actually work? What should I select if I want the transfers to occur at the real-life times, as I mentioned?

Good question , I always just select real world, and do not really see what not works

Custom start date (below is 18.05.2026 start date) , and real results from Sortitions.

I tested with two players, first player will move on the correct date

Second player will leave on a free on the right date as well.

In my example, as long as you have to real-life dates in the Editor, it works in game

Unless if i am missing something of course.

I’ve checked all the options; the transfers confirmed in recent days are already included in the squads starting from July 2025 (in-game), even when I select "Real World" mode. The transfers in your example might be from the original 26.2.0 database; those are always processed on the correct date. However, the transfers from the sortitoutsi data update file aren't handled that way—as I mentioned, they are already with the clubs from July 2025 onwards, even if you choose "Real World."

yes, because transfers are made wit 01.07.2025 in the editor

My point is: it would work if the update is made with the real transfer dates.

Then comes a second question, can a data update be made with real transfers dates, i believe there was one for previous versions
