Just thought i'd get some feedback. I want to get a new version of the site out in the next two weeks (only slightly modified don't worry it's not completely changing!) and was thinking about adding a proper prediction league which will have the fixtures automatically added, a proper form to fill in and the league table would be automatically updated (possibly with monthly league tables/awards as well).

Is everyone cool with that?

Does you have any suggestions?

Are there any prediction leagues you use on other sites that you think are good that you'd recommend I take ideas from?

It would be alot easier to just do premier league so I can just import the fixtures and not choose each week but would you like champions league, international, championship, spanish galactico derbies etc?

I thought FM Base had something similar of what you are talking about, you should check that out.

Won't you get in trouble for showing all the Premiership fixtures? Or will you be importing them each week?

Importing them at midnight each night or each week since they're subject to change regularly (i'll probably just scrape the bbc website or something).

Also I have a feeling there was a ruling recently about displaying fixtures but i'm not to sure. Certainly alot of other sites do prediction leagues, there's even mods for vbulletin and alike so I can't imagine to many legal repercussions.

I remember a website that i was on back 2-3 years ago and they had to have names like FulofHam, WetSpam, WigWam, Liverpoodle etc to get around the rules.

Yeah, I'm keen. Would the new site lose all of the careers section like it did last time? Don't want to lose my career...

No it won't, it won't be too major an update. But this isn't necessarily the place to discuss that
