Nah, it's not.
The style works because you effectively pick players who 'want' it more all over the pitch, you reduce the game to percentages and numbers, and you pick players who give you the best chance of winning the highest percentage of the little duels you create.
There's a natural limit to that, teams know what you're going to do and can set up to stop you. You'll always win games because some teams won't compete as well in those areas as you, but eventually you're going to need players with guile and craft and give them the freedom to use it. It naturally conflicts with the rigid discipline of a system like that.

Swift, crisp passing (City in their title win, not Rodgers, never Rodgers) can be entertaining to watch. Seeing a 7 foot tall freak trying to win eight hundred headers is less entertaining.
I don't have anything in particular against it tbh. I hate Stoke for primarily different reasons than that.

Newcastle were worthy winners as well. All Swansea could do is work the ball wide and back again. Newcastle actually created a couple of chances.
Newcastle would have been relegated if this was the case. Barton is so slow he would be so easy to stop and with Jonas on the other side, we wouldn't have ever got the ball to Carroll.
Direct football can be entertaining, the 4-4 with Arsenal or when we beat Manchester United 3-0 are probably two of the most entertaining matches I've ever seen and iirc we were extremely direct in both of those games.

Last time I came over for a match was Copenhagen and City. Both good games! Was two or three years ago
Well I used to live in Ealing which is 12 stations away from the ground (Ealing Broadway > Earl's Court and then two stations to Fulham Broadway). But I moved countries since and I only came over twice or three times because flights are extremely expensive! Hopefully this year I will come over again, even by myself and watch some matches with my friends from England
