How on earth would that work for Newcastle, Sunderland, Stoke & any other team who play in stripes?

Yes I don't think that bit was thought through.

Watching us play Sunderland is usually confusing given we both wear stripes and black shorts. Its previously been quite confusing to see which side is which when we've turned up in both, as both sides did in the game at SJP last season (given the result/performance/riot that's the only thing I want to remember about that game).

From the derby in April:

Always seems to happen at SJP - normally games at the Stadium of Shite see us wear our away kit or home shirts/white shorts.

Notts County have made their kit into a barcode so no tag is needed to scan it at the shop...

I'd laugh if you were walking out of Tesco wearing that and it set the buzzers off.

You do know barcodes don't set of alarms right?

I was more thinking it would be funny if you were in Tesco on self service and it scanned your shirt!

http://i4.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article2683261.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/Madureira-main-2683261.jpg

A third division Brazilian team have struck gold with one of the most recognisable strips in history.

Madureira, based in Rio de Janeiro have released a new kit, which features the face of Che Guevara.

The revolutionary's bearded face appears on the club's new maroon strip - created to commemorate their tour of Cuba in 1963, while the goalkeeper's shirt is designed exactly like the island's flag.

And the creation hasn't gone to waste - with sales rocketing to more than 3,000 in the weeks since it was launched, a considerable leap from the usual 10 a month.

Link. Wonderful.

Having the flag and the FA logo makes what is otherwise a pretty nice shirt look a bit clustered.

Wasn't sure about that red v across the chest when I'd seen a leaked picture before but having seen the full kit I reckon it could be one of the best at the World Cup next year.

I'm really not sure why it has white shorts, or why Spain have red shorts with their strip now. Is there some form of FIFA decree or adidas fuck-up or... what's the deal?

FIFA have apparently put in their regulations, teams must play in one block colour. No idea why.

It was almost like they were waiting for France to qualify before releasing their kit for the tournament

I like the simple designs. Don't like the outlining on the logo though.

Surely if they did then that France kit just posted would have blue shorts, or the England kit would have white shorts.

Seems like some idiocy from adidas.
