Defending a deserved lead, they get a corner, what do we go and do? Lose the header at the near post to the smallest bloke on the pitch and don't have someone on the back post to stop that header going in. I could have defended that corner better. What's the point in battling for everything and being made to work to score when we then go and concede stupid goals like that? Deserved the win on the overall performance, but dear God, you cannot defend like that.

Better don't. There is a guy in the Crawley stands just ringing a cow bell everytime Crawley get a goal, a goal chance or foul given. Annoying as fook

So it's just like going to Portsmouth, then?

The difference between Portsmouth and Crawley is that Portsmouth actually is quite an enjoyable away day, unless you're Bury FC.

Really hoping that AFC Wimbledon can stay up.

Been following them this season since I played with them on FM and hopefully will go see them play next time I'm back on that side of the world.

I second that.

Also what Kevo said, I can't help feel a bit of sympathy for AFC, perhaps because I've actually been alive for their entire existence and able to follow their story from the beginning, or maybe just because they display my favourite game upon their shirts. either way I hope they survive.

Obviously playing two top-flight games, especially in English football, is going to be more physically intense and more mentally fatiguing than playing against lower league opposition.

Absolute codswallop. Lower league football is brutal compared to the Premier League. The PL is basically non-contact these days.

I see LJL made a massive 10 minute contribution to your game and has failed to get a single goal for your lot yet. Not having the best start eh?

This game resulted in The King getting sacked by Macc which is weird because their football this season was very good on many occasions but defo there have been some off field issues. McIllroy and Coleman must be in the frame now

Aye, he's not been great but he's a welcome addition to a small squad. Playing his part. He had a good game up at Gateshead the other week but other than that he's not really started. We've got better strikers ahead of him in the pecking order.

The 'km' run will be far more demanding, and therefore lead to muscle fatigue and increase risk of injury.

No, you're just wrong there. The distance run plus the physical nature of each game would be far, far more demanding than just km run on their own

We're bottom of the table, going to be relegated on Saturday, hardly attracting 2.5k crowds with around zero players for next season and Fenton says something ridiculous like "and invest £100,000 each, with a guaranteed payback". (as if, having a laugh Fenton?)

What business man in this world would invest in that club?

Danny Wilson, been sacked, or resigned, nobody knows yet, but he's gone, stupid decision either way, 5th place with 2 games in hand and only 5 games to go.

Ridiculous.

Some of their football this season has been absolutely horrendous. Even we got a draw at Brammall Lane with Peter Fucking Shirtliff as caretaker.

This has Warnock written all over it.

Bournemouth can go top of League One on Saturday, thats Doncaster, Swindon & Sheff Utd all lost last Tuesday was FANTASTIC!

We could enter the play-off places with a win over Scunthorpe tomorrow amusing other results go our way, Make or break now as there will only be two games left afterwards. I never believed we would be in this position back at the start of the season when we were tipped for relegation, particularly after going twelve games without a win early on.

We have to turn up tomorrow against Wolves. I don't care what the table says - the core of that team competed in the Premier League for three years and have some serious quality to turn on. Getting a result against them would be massive, and it's our toughest match of the season, despite league placings. They'll be battling for their lives, and we have to go out there and out-fight them. Clayton's definitely back, and Hunt might be back, which would be massive. Ward's still out, as is Southern (whom we've missed massively since his ridiculous sending off at Charlton in November, which in hindsight might have been the turning point of the season, and his subsequent injury). Gerrard's doubtful.

We don't deserve to go down. No one at present beyond Bristol City deserves it (though with 5 games to go there's time for that to change). On the other hand, no one beyond Cardiff deserves to go up. But 3 go up and 3 go down, and whatever will be will be.

And Leicester have gone and proved my point. What was the point in spending all that cash when they're only 14 points better off than the side one from bottom of the league?

So tomorrow we're playing Burton away (not sure if I've posted about this before) and a rich fan has decided to lay on 11 (ELEVEN) free (FREE) supporter's coaches AND (AND) a whole train carriage for the fans. So tomorrow I will be getting up at half four to get ready and get on a coach to travel hundreds of miles with up to 1,800 other fans to hopefully see us get one step closer to survival. I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight I'm so excited..

Drew 1-1 tonight at Luton.

Decent performance, 6 changes to the team and all the lads that came in did well. Onwards to the playoffs!

BREAKING NEWS: We're playing a game of football tomorrow by the sounds of it. I was shocked when I first saw it on the website and was quick to get it on Twitter and raise awareness for this.

In all seriousness, we are playing Oldham tomorrow. Will be interesting to see what will happen tomorrow especially off the field. Heading towards admin/extinction, possible relegation, and the spice of a local derby against the BIFFO makes everything a bit unpredictable.

If you don;t win enough games you deserve to go down.

Somebody will go down with 54 points this season. Somebody could go up with 60-odd. In league table terms, they'll have been 22nd and somewhere in the top 6 - but do they really 'deserve' to be two divisions apart next time out? Rules are rules, and three go up and three go down, but it's an insane league. A record high points total will go down (Leicester went down with 52 in 2008, the highest ever), and a record low points total might go up, play-offs depending (lowest since 2004/5 being 70 points - Blackpool in 09/10). This is the tightest this division has been since the Championship rebranding, and whoever goes down will, in relative terms, be staggeringly unfortunate. Made even more so by the fact that, at this level, with 46 games in a season and with 3 points for a win, it has never been the case that two sides with 50+ points have been relegated in the same season. That will change this season.

It's not unfair. If you don't want to to go down, win more. Unfair is acquiring enough points to finish above the relegation zone but then getting sent down because the FA thinks your team colours are shit. The league table is 46 games, not a one off, it is an endurance test. The best two teams go up and the three worst teams go down. The only quibble about fairness you could possibly bring to the table is the play-offs. Nothing else is simpler to understand, there is no luck.

But when two of your strikers are Warren Feeney and Nick Chadwick there's not much hope for another 7 going past them I'm so tired though, we better win.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!

Conceded an 87th minute goal to bloody Scunthorpe, SCUNTHORPE!!! If we had held on we would have moved into the play-off places, we really need a lot of luck to qualify now with all the teams around us having at least one game in hand.
