Was only a matter of time for them unfortunately, next season will be tough for them as well.

Confirmed Yeovil have just hit back to back relegations! The drew at home against fellow strugglers Notts County was enough to stick the knife in! Oh what a miserable 24 months its been!

Don't worry, they've got Paul Sturrock in charge now. That man's a bloody genius with no money in the lower leagues.

Seems like its all gone downhill ever since that victory at Milwall on the opening day of last season in the 2nd tier. Shame. Was kinda hope they stayed up last season, and certainly wasn't expecting that.

A lot of the fans aren't sure on him, Give him time and see what happens I guess!

Just look at what he did with Southend; took over a team of about 5 players at the start of pre-season; bought in good players and stabilised the club and got them to the JPT final, and into/around the play-off places (granted they replaced him with Phil Brown towards the end of the JPT season but Sturrock got them to the final). Not to mention what he did with us.

I'm disappointed for Yeovil. They weren't the worst side I saw last season and were in almost every game in the Championship. They just seem to have forgotten how to win. I think I saw that their top scorer has only bagged 5, which is an obvious problem. I reckon they'll be straight back up next campaign.

Dear god, I think Yeovil are becoming the lovable underdogs that everyone seems to love and want to do well now! That used to be us! And they play in green! Bastards!

... Huish Park's a shit hole anyway.

Always had a soft spot for Plymouth. The first game I saw was Town v Plymouth in 1994 (we won 1-0 - Andy Booth scored). Haven't seen them in years, though - the last time we played, I was at uni in Newcastle so couldn't get to the Tuesday night home game. Think it's 13 years since I've seen Plymouth.

Oh, and we're safe for another year. 0-0 draw at Brighton has sealed it.

Mate I thought you were quite young. Somewhere in your early 20's or 25 tops, somewhere around my age.

Massive 1-0 win over Shrewsbury tonight. Joe Riley literally scored our goal of the season, 30 yard stunner. Sadly, with Exeter these stupid cnuts giving away a penalty in the 96th minute, which wycombe scored, we couldn't make any progress, so it's still not in our hands. Anyway, Portsmouth away is the next game, which won't be any easier than this game either.

Been in the top 5 all season and now with 2 games to go we have dropped out. Absolutely gutted.

Looks like our manager is off to Wrexham at the end of the season too. What a terrible end.

26. I got started young because my dad wanted to take me to Leeds Road before the stadium move. Still vaguely remember the game and trying to work out the scoreboard on the Dalton Bank. There would have been about 5,500 there, but I remember it being weirdly empty. My next game was the first game at the new stadium, against Wycombe. Can't remember the game, can remember going to an office down on Leeds Road to collect tickets.

Turning 25 on 3rd May so you're not that much older than I first thought Started watching Bury around 99 I think. Can't remember which game that was but it was back in the good old first division days. Pitch all muddy, the ground all rusty and Neil fucking Warnock on the touchline. If you compare that with today, an awful awful lot has changed

Strangely enough, same here

More strange goings on at Leeds United yesterday, with 6 players claiming to be injured and refusing to travel. This sort of thing does seem to galvanise them, though, so anyone lumping on Charlton might get a bit of a shock.

What a game. Proper football match. Two teams going at it, wanting to win. We actually had the ball in the net SEVEN times, with three disallowed goals on top of the four we did get. Two of those were very questionable calls, too, though I haven't seen them again. Wells' disallowed goal was almost certainly onside, with a Derby player off the pitch behind the goal and the keeper playing him on.

Still, great game. Derby punished every mistake we made but can't defend themselves to save their lives. We probably shaded it in terms of shots and chances, but still. Can't complain at proper entertainment.

1-0 win at Portsmuth today. Unbelievably improtant win (7th away win in a row) and with Wycombe dropping points at Wimbledon today, it's all in our hands!

Congratulations to Burton by he way for getting the job done and winning promotion to League One. Good team, deserve to go up

Danny Mayor voted player of the year League 2. Deserved that, he's improved a lot this season. Not that he wasn't good last season but he even upped that this season. Performs well, scores some, assists even more and is just a joy to watch. Well done Danny!

We pretty much sent Millwall down last night thanks to Rhodes and Rudy, to the delight of many - a lot of fans of other teams were thanking us on Twitter, and not only Rotherham/Brighton etc who are down near the bottom with Millwall.

If Rhodes and Gestede leave in summer though, I fear for us next season. They've got 39 goals between them, only Deeney and Ighalo have been a better partnership, and yet we're still a million miles away from even the play offs, never mind promotion.

Blackburn are weird, how they seem to have been determined to hold on to Gestede and Rhodes with nothing much to play for.

Literally been confirmed in the last few minutes that Rotherham have been deducted three points for fielding an ineligible player in their win over Brighton last month.

That could be something that relegates them.

A lot of people complaining about an inconsistent approach being taken by the Football League after Blackpool were only fined when they played an ineligible player. Think it's fair enough myself, as Blackpool lost while Rotherham won.

Blimey all the shenanigans going on here were exhausting to watch, nevermind have an emotional investment in.

So Watford in the Prem, Shrewsbury up, Tranmere and Cheltenham down.
