Tour to Japan 2019 - Ajax



Decided to go on tour to Japan to boost our merchandise, We have made over 1M for appearing over there.

We played our first game against Grampus, our feeder club. Our new signing, Mate Tomic's early strike to give us the lead. Paredes double our lead on 15th minutes to to give us the win. They scored their goals in 2nd half after an mistake from Alan.

Good win over Antlers, thanks to goals from Kroos and Verhappen to give us our 2nd win on the tour.

We was losing to Urawa Reds going into half time, I decided to take Kroos off as he was slightly injured ( after the game he was ruled out for 3 weeks ) So I replaced him with Torres and BAM, 3 goals in 2nd half from him

Really annoyed with our draw against F Marinos, We actually threw away 2 goals lead in the end Conceded 89th minutes goal

Might try and fit in couple few pre seasons games before the season start.

I will post our transfers next, currently in talks with few youngsters and trying to sell few players. Have signed few players already which will be in next post. And some sad news too /o\

Was a busy summer for us, as most of our key players are being wanted by top clubs and has to fend off alot of offers for them. Turned down 38M bid from Atlético Madrid for Verhappen. Kroos was chased by Bayern and Barcelona before resigning with us for another 4 years. Which is brilliant news for us!

Jonny Brunner - 1.6M


He was found by Daniel Karbassiyoon on scouting trip, rated him very highly. He was pre signed in January and will play him as back up to Verhappen.

Guy Shamah - 90k


My scout rated him also highly and will be decent back up. Will play him in cup games, definitely a bargain!

Morten Tønnesen - 750K


Furuichi's replacement from Denmark, was spotted by my Scandinavian scout. Looks promising at 16 years old.

Mate Tomic - 900K


Decided to snap up this guy for back up to attacking midfielders. Big potential for the future. He was chased by Bayern, Dortmund and Barcelona.

Anders Pedersen - 1M



He was the hottest property in the summer, He was chased by top clubs so I decided to enter the race for him and pleased to see he signed for us.

Andrea Martino - free



Was signed in middle of the season last season. Not sure where I will play him as he's settled across the back 4.


Currently in talks with couple defenders and striker, will post them when they're done.

OUT

As I posted few weeks ago that I have sold Furuichi to Monaco for 32M.

Also cashed in on Feitas to Malaga for 19.25m as I felt he better off playing elsewhere as he wasn't getting game time under me.

I decided to sell Dick Bosman to Monaco for 10M as he wasn't getting into the team.

Cashed in on Alan and made 10M profit on him. I do tend to see that he tends to make mistakes there and again, hence why I brought in 2 young defenders for the future.

Sols Hak-Sun for 4.5M as our midfielders are stocked to the max and he rarely played for me so I decided to sell him.

Sad day was I decided not to renew Gnabry's loan for another season As I felt it's time for other players to shine through.

Tour to America and friendly against Elche



Decided to fit in tour to America as we had over a month left to our season. Made over 1.4M from friendlies in USA.

Was a tough game and Maher got us the winner on 86th minutes against Los Angeles.

We played Colorado as one of our feeder club, Disappointed with our first half performance as we race to 2 goals leads thanks to Perk's brace, all of sudden we threw it away before Paredes got the goal before half time. We took control of 2nd half by bagging 4 goals.

Good win over Real Salt Lake

We finished off our tour with 2-0 win over San Jose. Our youngster got his first goal for us after heading in Pluim's corner kick to give us the lead. Maher finished the game off with a free kick from 26 meters.

We got offered 300K to play Elche at their place which I accepted it. Brunner was immense for us. Disappointed we didn't get into double figure as we had 9 CCC.

Verhappen is wanted by Real Madrid, I'm tempted to cash him in, any advice?

August 2019



What an fantastic start to the season with no goals conceded

We kicked off with a 2-0 win over PSV to win JC Schaal. 2 goals in 6 mins with goals from Verhappan and Veltman was enough to send us victor.

Not happy with the team performance, we was poor and we managed to win as Tavares scoring from an mistake to give us a win. We was wasteful in front of the goals.

We battered FC Twente at our first home game of the season. Verhappen put us ahead with a free kick from 26 meters which hit the post and went in. Kroos put the game to bed with an strike outside the box.

After FC Twente match, I decided to join Van Gaal bandwagon and went for 3-4-1-2 ( more like 5-3-2) and I went for this XI and left out first team players bar Paredes, Tavares and Brunner. And it was even matched but we has the better chances and had 5 clear cut chances, Van Overeen got us the winner on 63rd minutes after his first shot was parried into his path again to slam home to give us 3 points.

We was below par against Vitesse and Verhappen brace was good enough for us to seal the win.

Another poor performance from the team Veltman got the winner on 3rd minutes, headed in Pluim's corner kick.

Strike duo - Verhappen and Jovetic put them to sword with 2 goals apiece Gave Jovetic, his first start since joining us.

I have brought in 3 new players to improve the team.

Alexis Sanchez - free.



I have decided to bring him in as I felt we was lacking goalscoring forwards so hence why I brought him in and Jovetic. Will probably play him as ST, due to his pace.

Another free signing, signed him as I felt he will be a massive player for us, despite his history with injuries.

Domenico Pingue from Napoli - 9M



I have been chasing him for a while since I came across him when I took over Ajax. Massive signing for us, as I felt we STILL needed more defenders even I got too many /o\

OUT -

Sold Mladen Milovanovic to Real Sociedad for 7.25M as he has a year left and refusing to enter talks over new contract which left me no option but to sell. Which brought our outgoing transfers to 91.95M.

UEFA Champions League



Tough goup but I'm confident of beating Olympiakos both games, home games will be massive for us against Juventus and Bayern ( defending champion)

September 2019



We kicked off September month with a 2-1 win over Feyenoord away. We went behind as we didn't clear the ball before Feyenoord player, Davidson got it in the net to give them the lead. Maher got us level on 21st minute with a free kick outside the box. I decided to take Jovetic off at half time and brought in Sanchez and what it seems he got us the winner on 50th minutes with a tap in \o/

Our first game in Champions League was home to Juventus. We was all over them like a rash and couldn't break them down. Jovetic picked up an injury on stroke of half time, replaced him with van Oeveren. He got us the winner on 87th minute after Verhappen ran toward the touchline and crossed it to van Oeveren and headed it in from 4 yards out to give us the winning start in the Champions League. Juventus failed to register a single shot on target.

We beat Heracles thanks to goals from Blind and Pingue. Was impressed with Blind performance as WBL as he was motoring up and down the side and causing them problems. Pingue's goal was from the corner.

Not happy we needed a penalty shooutout to beat Zwolle We was winning 2-1 until they counter attacked from our corner kick which they ran up other end and scored in the end. We won 5-4 on penalties Told the team we need to improve alot in next round. We got Vitesse in next round.

We finished the month off with 2-0 win over Roda JC. We took the lead on 38th minutes as we won a penalty which Verhappen converted. Maher got our 2nd goal after Verhappen's free kick looped over the wall which Jovetic lost control of the ball which Maher ran inside the box and slammed it home



Transfers news

Brought in 2 keepers which I'm quite pleased about, to give Paredes competition for his spot. As we currently got 2 GK at the club.

Alessandro Russo - 5.5M



Good young keeper and great potential to turn into world class keeper. He was born in Paraguay but has Italy as other nationally and switched to them to play for Italy U's21.

Benjamin Nicot - 1M



My French scout picked him up while going through French U's 19 teams. I'm looking forward to see his development. Massive potential.

This will be my last 2 goalkeeper signings.

OUT:

Sold my Turkish keeper, Özgür Tarzim to PSG for 15M. He was whingeing that he wasn't getting picked, so PSG came in with stupid bid for him so I took it.

October 2019



We travel to Greece for our Champions League match, Maher, scored the only goal on 16th minutes to give us a win.

We was really poor against ADO Den Haag and was really poor in front of the goal despite Verhappen getting us the winner on half time.

Guess Paredes was given love juice by his bird By bagging hat trick against FC Utrecht His third goal was from penalty which was saved and he scored from the rebound.

Crazy match against Bayern. Neuer was the reason why they only lost by a goal. We was all over them and just couldn't seem to get past him. He ended up with MOTM which I agree as he was the best player on the pitch. Was nice to see Kroos getting one over his old club \o/ Verhappen double our lead on 27th minutes. Thomas Muller pulled one back on 85th minutes.

Now you can see why Neuer was impressive against us Our keeper only made one save \o/

We put 3 past RKC with goals from Maher x2 and van Beek, where the latter has a good game for us. He also came through our academy.

We finished the month off with us crashing out of KNVB Beker, 2-0 loss against Vitesse. I'm not bothered about KNVB Beker as I'm more focused on the league and CL this season.



6 points clear at the top

November 2019



Started off with a 5-0 win over Willem II and battered them all over the patch.

We was so unlucky to lose to Bayern, first goal from Barbosa was pure lucky as he scuffed his shot and somehow went in the net Referee was licking their arse and gave them a penalty to kill the game off which Muller converted.

We faced PSV for our big match. We took the lead thanks to Paredes's banana shot which went in the net. We conceded a goal from corner kick van Oeveren goal was chalked off with 3 minutes left which I don't know why Fair result in the end.

We was rubbish in our 1-0 win over Sparta. Nothing else to say other than that.

Fantastic result for us as we needed a point against Juventus to qualify for Knockout round with a game left. We just couldn't beat Begovic who won MOTM afterwards.

Another pathetic draw. We went behind as Andrea Martino made a stupid mistake to let their forward score. Disappointed it took us 71th minutes to get a goal from Jovetic. We was utterly pathetic in front of the goal too.

December 2019



With only 2 games before hitting Christmas break.

Disappointed with our win as we raced 2 goals lead and they scored 2 goals on 56th and 57th minutes to my amusement Thanksfully Verhappen got us the winner on 74th minutes.

Massive difference performance from the guys against Olympiakos, Blind and Van Beek had a field day down both flanks respectively, both bagged a goal each which was pleasing. Seems we left our shooting boots in changing room when we enter 2nd half. I'm gutted for Olympiakos as they needed a point against us or Bayern to slip up so they could have join us into knockout stages. Unfortunately they beat Juventus 1-0 to finish 2nd.

We got a game in hand over PSV as we was meant to play Sc Heerenveen but was rescheduled due to them playing in KNVB Beker.

Bring on 2020!

This came out of blue. Seems they have struggled in the league since I resigned few years ago. They just sacked Joachim Löw, and Roberto Martinez is favourite for the job. I'll attend and see what their vision for the club.
