Can't add alternative tactics to U-21 or U-18 teams

I've discovered that I can't add any alternative tactics to my U-21 and U-18 squads. Is that supposed to be the case or am I doing something wrong?

I've just had a check of this, and I can on my game. not sure what you're doing! but tbh, why would you set your U21s & U18s to anything other than your first team tactics?

They're playing my first team's tactics, but I want all three of my tactical sets to be practiced by all three squads.

Did you have to do anything special to get the tactics to stick? It occurred to me that I might have some sort of setting wrong in the team options. I'll have to go through that, just in case.

they should just automatically do this, but if you click on the tactics screen and then on the 'alternative tactics' bit above the left hand formation on your reserve squads, you can input this manually.
