South African Premier League 2D (courtesy of Kilfa6 but modified to match 14.3.1 registry) & 3D

Hello all,

Please find attached my attempt at the South African Premier League 3D Kits (with modified 2D folder).

I downloaded kifla6’s 2D Pack, which was excellent, from here

However, despite all the 2D kits kilfa6 had made being accurate in terms of their reflection from the real-life kits this season, I noticed that some teams in the game had:

a) more kits in the registry than this season the team actually used and kilfa6 had made;
-e.g. Ajax CT has a gold and black 3rd kit which appears to be from last season
-e.g. Wits has a mauve 3rd kit in the game
-e.g. Kaizer chiefs have a white 3rd kit
-e.g. Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars have a 3rd white kit in the game (Platinum’s as far as I can tell being fictional)
-e.g. Sundowns has a sky blue third kit

-OR-

b) less kits in the game registry than the team actually has and kilfa6 had made;
-e.g. Golden Arrows don’t seem to have a white second kit, but the yellow one
-e.g. Free State don’t have a 3rd blue kit in the game
-e.g. Tuks don’t have a 3rd blue kit in the game despite definitely having one in real life

-OR-

c) have the colours of their kits wrong in the game registry as compared to this seasons real kits as reflected by kilfa6.
-e.g. Amazulu’s away kit is shown to be white in game, whereas kilfa used a purple kit (which I think is the goalkeeping kit)
-e.g. Bloemfontein Celtic’s Away kit is shown to be green whereas in real life it is definitely white (I note also there is no text file (and only a shirt file) for this team’s away kit so will show up as green in match)
-e.g. Martizburg’s home kit in game is shown as actually shown as the colours of their alternate kit (as Kilfa correctly reflects) – this is ok because the team has a text and short file which confirms the true colour of the kit is blue and white. However, the 2nd and 3rd kits are shown to be yellow/black and red/black respectively so the true away kit never features.
-e.g. Polokwane’s first kit is shown to be grey and the away orange in game; whereas in real life the home kit is orange and the change kit is light blue, as shown by kilfa
-e.g. Platinum’s 2nd kit is grey in game (presumably from previous years), not green as it is in real life this season.


Given the degree of inconsistency which SI have built into the game, I have re-made some of the 2D kits (using kilfa6’s work and all credit must go to him/her) so that what you have in game is consistent at least. The 3d pack matches this.

I have tested these in 14.3.1 and I think they work and (apart from a few instances (e.g. Bloem’s fictional green 2nd kit and other matters raised above where I have had to be creative) the 3D kits produced are accurate and true to life.

However, as this is my first pack creation, I may have made an error with the config or the work could be improved. If you find an error or suggest an amendment without losing the consistency with the game registry I was going for, then please detail what it is and so people can modify theirs should they want to download.
