Your attacking midfielder should be a AMC or winger who can play as a striker or simply a striker. If the AMC or the winger is yellow as a striker, it's not good enough, he has to be green. Put him on the wing.
It doesn't matter if your wingers are slow so if your central midfielder isn't at least yellow as a defensive midfielder, because you play with 2 defensive midfielders, put him on the wing, if he's at least yellow there.

For the ones who ask their assistant to select their team,
When you move up your CM you have to switch his mentality from ''ball winning midfielder'' to ''Advanced Playmaker'' before asking your assistant to pick your team, otherwise your assistant will select a DM instead of a CM. Save the 2nd tactic so you wont have to repeat these steps before each game.
