Played another 2 friendlies, 2 more positive results! The Saudi Arabia game was a shocker but we won it getting a man sent off after 14 minutes hardly helped the game but when they had a man sent off too we improved and De Nigris came off the bench to grab a late winner! We played and defended really well again against Italy and blocked everything and we went ahead a brilliant finish by Aguilar we only seem to score good goal can't score the scrappy ones there goal came after we couldn't clear a corner and Bonucci scored from close range. A few more debutantes too!

Played my last pre gold cup friendly! And it was very successful a very good win over a strong Poland side we went behind but bounced back quickly Hernandez and Gurdado scoring after quite poor defending! a good win bodes well for us hoping to win the Gold cup!

Heres my gold cup group! I am pleased with the group and should get through, I am also delighted to be returning to play Canada too! I have one more friendly first though away at Cyprus!

That was shocking, it might have been a friendly but that was unacceptable when we took the lead in the first minute I thought we would be alright but we didn't defend at all and Ochoa in goal dropped 2 crosses into his own net must improve!



2 more debutantes! Both strikers so I can't blame my defending/ goalkeeping on that.





U20's didn't do too well either

Well that was bloody awful don't have a clue what happened managed to get through my world cup group but in the easier Gold cup group I am somehow out we were shocking really really poor a change of tatics is needed I think! Still got one game left but I can no longer qualify.

Well we won very comfortably against Panama! 5-2 and we looked very good with the new formation Corona scored his first ever goals for us and it was a hat trick! And as it turned out that the best two 3rd placed finishers also qualified so after our win over Panama it meant we finished 3rd and Trinidad and Tobago also had the same points and goal difference as us but we edged them out on goals scored so Fierro's late goal was crucial! And although it wasn't pretty we have qualified for the 1/4 final!









Quite a tough quarter final!

Get in! Important win takes us into the semi final! We were much the better side dominating possession but it didn't look like we would find that breakthrough until Corona found Fierro who placed a finish inch perfect into the corner we meet Honduras (who topped our group) in the semis! Also Canada beat USA

Good work qualifying even if it was in third! Lets hope you can go all the way!

We are through to the final we were so much better than the group game against Honduras! This new formation is working really well Pena scored a screamer a long range shot into the top corner and Vela scored directly from a cross! They didn't create alot although Corona made a great save at 1-0! And strangely enough we have Canada in the final they beat Jamaica in the semi final they have done better than I did with them! I hope we can do better than the group game!

Great Work getting to Final George

Great win!! In the final really pleased 5-1 was excellent and we took our chances really well Villa only started because Fierro's fitness was awful but he scored a hat trick! Vela scored again and Corona also got one he is the Gold cup golden boot winner and leading assist maker! Canada did get one back after a mistake by Moreno but we were quickly ahead again! After finishing 3rd in the group this is an excellent win!

A few awards I left out the screenshot about Jesus Corona winning the golden boot as I have already told you about that!

I wasn't in the Copa America but my under 23s were and they did ok coming through the groups in 3rd but losing in the 1/4 final! I employed someone to take charge of them!

Top work on the Gold Cup george! eased it in the final!
