Was absolutely superb in the 1-1 though, had Dzeko in his back pocket.

You forget we're talking about the Champions League here - and currently have Mike Williamson, Paul Dummett and Steven Taylor as our defensive options - all of whom are poor. Relegation candidate centre backs at the very best - Dummett possibly Championship at best.

I don't think City are breaking any rules, definitely not FFP. In regards to Lampard, I have no idea what that was, other than idiotic. What was the point of announcing it as a loan, to maintain his 'legendary status' at Chelsea?

Are they going for the "Receive big money, invest it in sub-par tosh for all positions" routine Spurs and Liverpool have done?

Apparently Neil Taylor could be leaving Swansea, so this is just a replacement. Hopefully this deal means Yedlin will start getting some game time soon.

Big Bielik finally signed. £2.5m at 17, looks decent. Fucking massive and is a DM so hopefully it signals the end of Flamini in the Summer when we sign a starting DM too.

Looking at Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal apparently, he's starting tonight for them. €20m is the fee being touted (his release clause) but I'm guessing we'll try and strike a deal around the €15-17m mark.

I'd try putting in a bid for Schurrle to be honest. If it's true Chelsea are looking to get Cuardado and let him go then it's not that unrealistic.

Not too sure why we'd offload Schurrle just yet, I'd rather sell Salah off first because he's more of a deadweight. Schurle's had a rough season with illness and poor form, but he's still a handy player when he fires. A good pre-season in the gym would help as well. Definitely need some more firepower though from the wider positions. Reus would be ideal, would also be happy with Cuardado or even Mirallas tbh. I think Mirallas would fit in very well.
