And Arsenal got nothing out of him, Janmaat and two midfielders for the last 45 mins.

Williamson had a horror show, on the second corner it happens. Janmaat was very good, and Cabella had his best game for Newcastle, he was very good today.

Hard to get onto Williamson anymore when our midfielders couldn't string a pass together for 45 mins.

That midfield of Carrick, Mata and Herrera has been so fluid, lovely to watch so far.

Our only issue is fucking Valencia at right back, he's not comfortable at all and he's actually just tackled Herrera

I have no doubts that Liverpool will come out a lot better and maybe dominate the second half as that's usually how these things go but we were very very good for a lot of that half. Very happy. Might regret not getting a second though, no doubt Gerrard will come on and score his penalty.

Think we need to do much of the same in the second half. Keep the ball, be physical and press well. Would rather see Jones at right back and Rojo in the centre with Smalling instead of Valencia. As for Rooney, well he's been quiet and when on the ball touch has been heavy and passes very poor. Think we can get some joy down Blinds side if we target Can.
