Wont happen either seeing as we've pretty much completed a deal for Romero.

Liverpool reportedly bid for Balotelli.

Brendan Rodgers sure loves to dance with the devils, doesn't he?

He must be thinking he could tame Mario since he's already done it with Suarez.

Though it is debatable whether Suarez was tamed anyway [insert carnivorous animal joke].

They're completely different situations though. Balotelli's problem is less about the moments of stupidity and more about the amount of games when he just can't be bothered. Suárez never had that issue.

If Mario couldn't be arsed playing for his 'boyhood club', then I doubt he'll be arsed playing for Liverpool

Yeah but this is his chance at The Biggest Club in the World™.

Kudos to Vincent Tan for keeping that to himself until now

Always knew Vincent Tan was the god guy in all this.

Makes you think though - if Tan was sitting on this mix of information of alleged industrial scale money wasting and offensive e-mails, why not release them when Mackay was fired in the first place? At the very least it can't have been any worse than being a fanbase vitriol target from the Moody sacking until now.

I always thought Mackay was a prick, and this has pretty much confirmed it.

The whole "if they didn't sack Mackay, they wouldn't have been relegated" bullshit annoyed me.

Palace were 13th when they didn't appoint Mackay.

He would have kept them up.

LMA's Statement.

"These were two text messages sent in private at a time Malky felt under great pressure and when he was letting off steam to a friend during some friendly text message banter."

LMA are one of the most putrid organisations involved with football, can't believe they'd put their name to that statement.

Also this line is really odd:

"Malky finds it strange that these matters were only raised with the FA and in the media now, 8 months after his employment ended and the day before he was reported as being offered the opportunity to become manager of Crystal Palace FC."

I assume it goes on to read "Malky would have preferred the fact he is a bit of a cunt to have been outed in the media 8 months prior, and is critical of Cardiff's discretion on the matter".

When Malky Mackay went to accept a job offer of a similar position to his last the fact he was a racist cunt would quite obviously come to light at that time.

What an embarrassing fuck-up from all involved.

Why is the LMA backing him anyway? Innocent until proven guilty?

The LMA will basically back every manager.

Redknapp is right?

People who have done far worse have got back in the game. Lee Hughes, Ched Evans, Marlon King, Nile Ranger, Ravel Morrison, Andy Carroll, Luke McCormick, Joey Barton etc. have all got back in.

One thing in common, none of them are managers. For some reason, it seems to be different for managers.

He also said he was a "fantastic man" though in fairness
