Thanks Johno!! Yeah, I was sad but he wanted $4k a week after previously being on $1.7k a week, and that investment in a declining 33 y.o. who wasn't giving the same goal return he had just didn't seem the smart thing to do.

Delighted with the 6-2 cup win to start our competitive season! Pritchard with a debut hat-trick! Looks like the new signings are all getting in on the act!

A tough 2-3 away loss to Serie A Spezia was a solid performance. Although I'm disappointed to go out of the cup so early, it was a decent performance away to quality opposition in the league above us.

A lovely 3-0 home victory over continual nemesis Sassuolo as pleasing to the eye. Acetta with a brace to bring his seasonal tally to 3 already! Barbato continuing to grow into quite a player.

New boys Accetta and Messaoudi continuing to find the back of the net! Mikel also finding himself on the unfamiliar position fo the score-sheet ha-ha A 3-1 away victory over Bresica in a match we dominated ends a perfect Serie B month!

A name that seemingly will be mentioned often, Karel Acetta is an attacking member of my parent club Palermo on loan at no cost to me! He may lead us to the pinnacle that is la Serie A!

Its not actually a big issue going out the cup, allows you to focus on the league which is obviously the priority!

I agree Dan, and to have gone out the last two years after a couple of games to Serie A opposition in Fiorentina and Spezia is something I can live with. On to the league!!!!

ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED! A competitive point against a good Montenegro team!!! Peluso again! I think he has scored 3 or 4 this calendar year for the Sammarinese boys!!! Kept them out, a bit of luck, think they had 2 or 3 disallowed goals, but we took our chance when we had it and capitalized one their bad luck!



a 0-3 loss away to France really isn't that poor of a scoreline. However, they had their way with us, and it could have been 5 or 7 or 10, as you can see by the match stats. So....we obviously aren't there yet haha

Good start in Serie B

Very lovely (and lucky) 1-nil away win at league leaders Empoli! Accetta continuing to perform!

Unfortunate 2-2 draw at home to Latina. They equalized in the 83rd minute, and although a draw was probably the most fair result considering the match stats, was still annoyed to drop points at home.

Amazing 2-0 home victory over Cagliari, who have fallen from grace and have already gone through a manager sacking this year. Casieri brace was crucial and he actually missed a sitter late in the game in which he denied himself his hat-trick.

A VERY POOR showing away at Modena resulted in a 0-3 loss that could jave been much worse if De Bellis didn't have to put the defense on his back and make some unbelievable saves. We were dominated in this match and it was surprising how shit we played.

A fantastic away 4-2 victory over Nocerina!!!! We went 0-2 down and then made the 4-goal comeback following my team talk at half when it was 1-2 after Battistini, a Sammarinese boy, had pulled one back for us. Epaillard played out of his mind, and got his first 2 goals of the season, a artillery of a penalty kick and then a fantastic volley from just inside the box that I am tempted to load up here! Isoufi with a wonderful free-kick goal to round off a sensational comeback!




A hot start like last year. So, despite this being positive, it will be all about continuing this form into the winter and spring! but hey, we're playing well!

meh meh meh blegh. An uninspiring finish to our attempt at qualification for the UEFA Euro Championship. 0-12 over the last two games against the R's, Romania and the Rooskis. Poor games. Time for change. Two friendlies in November and I want victories!

Great start to the season! Some great wins in there great point over Montenegro in qualifying! And not a bad result against France shame about the last 2 results though.

Mega ouch

Two squeaker victories at home followed by two poor defeats away made October an interesting start to Autumn for the Apriliani. Hopefullly November goes better with more consistency.

They are the reason for this specific career. I didn't get into it to lead Aprilia to glory as the primary goal, although that would be nice, I have a team of Sammarinese on my Aprilia team and they are the focus in the end

After another slow start to a month in Autumn, or rather a continuation of our poor October form, we finally turned it around!

A couple of victories from good performances at the end of the month can give us hope going into the Christmas period!

Delighted with the victory over Liechtenstein! The 2nd in my reign with San Marino! Glad to see Stefanelli get on the scoreboard and just to have another international victory with the Sammarinese.



Annoyed we couldn't get a result from this fixture at home, but it was a positive performance to finish out 2019 with San Marino. Hopefully 2020 will bring a competitive victory!!!

Also, I'm finding it easier to keep this season going knowing people are anticipating updates. Not get bogged down by getting so annoyed I quit or restart a match because of frustration. haha

Positive year. Still looking for that first competitive win, but at least snagged a competitive point against Montenegro! Two friendly wins this year And the fact that we are scoring friendly and competitive goals more freely is very promising!

I need to stop starting out months so slow!

Wrecked at home by Catania. It was just a pathetic showing. We were down 0-4 at the half. Just yelled at em and hoped for a couple goals. I suppose the 2-1 2nd half victory is something positive to take from it, but I was seething.

I really tough 3-4 away loss to take at Cremonese, who we are battling in the top 7 with. I believe we were down 1-3 at the half. I yelled at them again, and this time we battled back valiantly, only to be struck down by a late winner. Looked like it might just be coal this Christmas for Aprilia

Nothing like a home thrashing of Varese! 4-1 and we never looked like anything less. Tomassini getting his first tow goals of the season is icing on the cake!

A clutch 3-2 away victory that happened even after going down 0-1 in the 9th minute and Accetta getting a straight red for violent conduct in the 16th minute! So a 10 man miracle!!!

Needed Isoufi to step up and grab us another crucial 3 points at home against Lanciano. Looking good!

Battistini's first goal for the club saved a point for us away at Benevento, who went into this match flying off the back 6-3 AWAY victory over a languishing Cagliari.

Sitting pretty going in the Top 5 into the new year, looks like the January transfer period may be busy, with the free transfers happening at the end of June being HUGE as well!

Another lone performance in January. Another shit one. A 2-5 away drubbing at the hands of Sassuolo. They just beat the shit out of us, plain and simple. Need to have a good spring this year or I'll run the risk of repeating last year's debacle della primavera.

No young Sammarinese brought in this year I'm a bit disappointed about this, but there seems to be a lull in quality Sammarinese youngsters, which is even more alarming. Sina and Monti and two defenders brought in for role playing/rotational options as Augistine Loof just didn't work out and put in shocking performances, so he is now in the reserves waiting to move in June, having accepted a contract from another club. John Obi Mikel is also moving to a Turkish Premier team, which I was okay with, he wanted crazy wages and isn't performing anything out of above average. Kevin Gameiro is an exciting pickup and can hopefully bring us some veteran goals; this pickup was also a necessity as Tomassini is injured, Accetta is only on loan with us, and my other strikers are all pretty young. All of the loans out of the club are either unhappy Sammarinese, who refuse to resign a contract due to playing time, which is worrying as I don't want them to retire, or youth players.

Hopefully my next update will be filled with green dots and amazing performances!

Unlucky last result mate! Great signing in Gamerio. Shame you couldn't get any young Sammarinese players this year. Still doing well up in 5th!

More of a poor performance, we need to put in some victories! Yeah, I've always liked him IRL and in FM but I don't think I've ever signed him! Definitely a big shame, but two of the best youngsters not on my team that are Sammarinese are solid players for the San Marino club team and I cannot afford them! Half because they are pretty decent, half because Aprilia haven't had good finances since I took them over despite staying under the wage budget each year and finishing in quality positions haha
