Poor performance to start the month against Pisa and it made me think "oh no, here we go again"

But alas, a great win against Reggina away. Almost gave it away in the end, but were able to walk away with the 3 points.

A GREAT home performance against Grosseto! Kalenga with an awesome hat-trick to pick his confidence up!



There we are I expect to keep rising in the table and solidify.

The game against Tanzania was actually a draw

Another really good month. Obviously disappointed with our defeat at Sassuolo considering they were in a run of poor form and right around us in the table. Also would have liked to have picked up the 3 points at home against Vicenza considering their lowly league standings, but those are the only complaints one could have with this mese di Natale

The stunning performance against Lanciano will definitely give us a boost going into 2022!!

Some transfer news to start the month off! Vidalá wanted to go back to his native Argentina with his only other career club Boca, so I decided to let him go even though he is a great player, that's just the kind of manager I am. In the same "that's me" vein, Kalenga got too big for his britches, so I told him he could rot in the reserves and accepted the first decent offer to let him feck off. Although he is a future star and great player, I don't need that type of player on my team. The 3 free transfers in the previous months all had to sit around unregistered until now, so as they will all be making their first appearances, it's like they're January transfers. I also rate Depay, even though his career in this game hasn't turned out like it's possible in others, the price was so cheap I thought why not.

Another solid month, but in reality one where I'm left thinking what could have been. Had the 3-2 in victory over Modena, then let them score two in the last 8 minutes to give up a guaranteed 3 points for 0!

Something that made this month difficult is the fact that my starting keeper has been injured since the Cremonese game, in such we should have won both games afterwards, but the keeping/defending was suspect. One of the goals in the Bari game was them clearing defensively from their 18, it bounced over our keeper who ran out to our 18

March looked like it belonged to Giovinco! That's a lot of goals from him. After that some mixed beans (fagiola mista). But a couple of wins could see you climb quite a few places in the table.

Great month to finish the season! Waynne Owen was on fire, 3 fucking hat-tricks in one month, as was Giovinco. Unfortunately I did leave it too late to get into the playoffs, but still, positives going into the offseason!
