Transfer glitch?/problem 2014

I am having a weird problem with my game, not just my current save but every career i take up is the same. the problem is that if i bid for a player and other teams bid for the same player my offer is refused but other teams offer of same amount always accepted. i bid for inigo martinez from real sociedad other teams started with 13.25m so i offered the same. they got accepted i got refused, but i really wanted him so i up my offer. i got to 19m and still get turned down and he ended up going to liverpool for 13.25m. is this a glitch or am i doing something very wrong because this keeps happening in my current game and through other unrelated careers as well.

Not that i know of... i cannot remember it 100% but usually i leave it on "no deadline" since i've learned through the years of FM playing that setting deadlines is counter productive

Actually, i think that was it. i just checked on a transfer i did now. and the default setting is "today" and i am in a bid vs barcelona and we both got accepted on the same amount. thank you very much. you just solved a very frustrating problem for me
