As much as Walt deserves to die, I think they should end the show with him still on top, but without anything that made him a person.

At this point I think everybody is at risk, and its likely that there's gonna be some big deaths in the last season.

Nah, I want him dead. After all he has done he deserves to die and I hope Jesse is the one who kills him. Or Hank.

Well yeah, but that'd be the 'happy' way to end it all wouldn't it? Having Walt end the story as a man totally dead inside with nothing but the empire he so desperately wanted would be be far more fitting with the feel of the show.

I want him to die too because he's a monster, but I expect something different from this show.

Abbott knows what time it is.

Godfather 2 ending, not a Scarface ending (though the Scarface ending is probably more likely)

Either way I hope they actually end it, I'm fed up of this modern trend of endings where there's deliberate ambiguity.

It's got to the point where even in films that have an obvious ending people are looking for it because it's so common in other stuff, e.g. Dark Knight Rises

I'd get a great sense of satisfaction from seeing Walt dead, and I fear I'd be extremely disappointed if he became more and more evil and didn't suffer the consequences come the end. If it was up to me, either Hank or Jesse would finish Walt off at the end, at least giving some redemption for the characters who deserve better. So much can happen between now and the end of the series though.

No just the connection between the two. Sometimes I find it hard to picture him as Walter because of Hal

Back on August 11th I think, can't wait.

Watched the whole five and a half series a few months ago within a few weeks. Couldn't get enough of it.

I didn't want to know!

Only blissful ignorance and an attempt to forget this show ever existed has got me through this stupid break.

I read somewhere that White seems to take on peculiar habits of those that he has killed.

Maybe the bacon part at the beginning of Season 5 was a hint that he killed his wife, who did the same thing before?

I don't think it was personally.

The bacon thing is a birthday tradition I thought.

I thought it shows that he has to leave, which you find out later is because Hank is onto him. I guess Skylar will claim ignorance when it all comes out. Presumably then most of the last season is set after this ~1 year gap between the end of last season and the diner scene with the bacon.

They will go online immediately after the US airing too, actually amazing. I do hope this is the way future tv shows are aired.

I can't understand why FX stopped airing them. It's mind boggling, in this day and age, to have an award winning television series without a UK tv carrier.
