Loading editor dbase

This is really bugging me. I run the editor via Steam and save the changes into a new and distinctive filename. Then run FM15 and select new game, choose custom to select my new dbase.

But... the only database option in the drop-down is "default". No matter what I do I can't get it to show any of the editor saved databases.

Can someone who has mastered this give me a solution?!
