Very nearly signed Odegaard as he had a £42m release clause, but Madrid offered him a new deal and accepted that. Tried again and they wanted £96m ffs.

Now have a strike force of the Ox, Welbeck, Vietto, Sanchez, Ozil, Bale and Neymar. If that don't sort our goalscoring problems out nothing will...

Went out of the League Cup to Burnley which i'm really not bothered about and won our first CL group game 2-1 against Brugge. We may have started well but Liverpool have already had two ridiculous wins, beating West Ham 8-0 and then following that up with a 9-0 win against Villa...

Wasn't a regular last season and didn't perform very well when he did play. Was only valued at £11m though kept trying for around 30ish but City wouldn't budge. Have always preferred Ramsey anyway and selling him means Zelalem can feature more.

Yeah I'm quite impressed myself. Never play the game like this, usually I try and keep as much money in the bank as possible and just buy bargains. But this time I'm just spending whatever they give me on the best players possible.

Fantastic squad you are building VP. I hope Messi will continue his form; as with other comments, he and Ronaldo both continue to dominate well into their late 30's, so plenty of time for Messi to break some records.
