Its the bonuses that have the biggest impact, Messi alone has £77k appearance fee, £25k unused sub and £96k scoring bonus. Well just worked it out and he has made £4.7m in bonuses alone this season (only in March) and thats without his £400k a week wages

Deserves a mention as due to the above injury list i've really been struggling for a starting 11 and of course forced to use some very poorly rated youngsters. But they've all stepped up to the job and none more so than this lad who came on for the final 10 mins against Villa and scored the winner in the 90th minute. Brilliant stuff.

Decided it was time to cut that wage/bonus bill, gonna make this season very tough as the squad is still very small but that does mean more game for the youngsters which is always a good thing. Brought in a couple of decent Brazilians and an amazing looking regen keeper. Really not expecting to win much if anything this season now though.

Biggest regret with Messi is who he's signed for, Chelsea will win the league now.
Only happened to look at them as the South American report popped up, wouldn't usually bother as all were rated just 3* but glad i did now.

Had this lad come through after the first season, already an England international and now a permanent fixture in my 11 after Varane's sale. Sadly he's not dubbed the next Tony Adams, or anyone for that matter.
