Hello I dont know why, but I have not still the kits in game. Can you help me why ?

Some more information would be appreciated 

• Is there any patterns to the kit not working such as a specific competition 
• Does it happen with all 3 kits 
• Does it happen when using another skin 
• Do you have more than one kit colour changing editor file for the English league selected

Also please be patient and do not post the same question each day and across multiple threads someone will help you when they have time. 

Hello all, 

I am playing in Wales and therefore wanted some real kits.

The newest kits I could find are from 20/21. Unfortunately they dont show up in game. All other downloaded jerseys are working fine. Does it have to do with file names? Or whats the problem. 🙂

Hi there, Its just the home kit for some reason. Doesn't work in any comp and I haven't touched anything in the editor data.. All other kits in the game work, just for some reason Chelsea's home kit… thanks!

Can't understand why i can see all kits but when open tactis or players they don't load the kit.

Latest version or update seems to be different, i'm assuming the all_config is just for everything whereas the config is update version?
 

EDIT: as this pack has many 3d kits inside are we going to have a version that is only SS kits and another version of 3d kits or will this be combination of both?

Similar here think the latest config is making my kits no longer appear in game, any idea on a fix?

EDIT: fixed it, put the config.xml in the kits folder, all_config,xml in the graphics folder 

Could you send a screenshot of how you fixed? My kits are not showing in the game

I did what was said here. In the kits folder, there is a folder ‘graphics’ that has the two config files. Moved the ‘config’ file into the main kits folder (with all the images) and it's working fine for me now

@Footygamer I think the folder structure of the complete 2024.04 file is a bit wrong or at least not made easy to just extract in to your graphics folder.

first of all I think you should add a kits folder and put all the kits and config(s) in there : sortitoutsi SS Kits Megapack 2024.04\graphics\kits

Then there is also the problem when people just extract the main folder in to there graphics folder then they get this;

  graphics\sortitoutsi SS Kits Megapack 2024.04\graphics and graphics\sortitoutsi SS Kits Megapack 2024.04\editor data and that will not work due to two graphics folders

The solution we made at the metallic logo pack was to get rid of the graphics folder in the download folder. It is working very nice and we don't really get that many questions about how to install in the technical help thread. 

I'm afraid I don't really understand the logic. Isn't it more confusing to have the instructions be:

“Put the kits folder into the documents/fm/graphics folder”

“Put the contents of the editor data into the documents/fm/editor data folder"

vs

“Put the contents of the graphics into the documents/fm/graphics folder"

“Put the contents of the editor data into the documents/fm/editor data folder"

Having two slightly different instructions for the same task is going to be confusing and more likely to lead to mistakes won't it?

Maybe i'm misunderstanding your point but i'm afraid I really don't get it.

Changing would also mean breaking all the youtube videos that have been recorded in the past month and I doubt they will get rerecorded before FM25, which would also add more confusing and mistakes.

I believe the logic about adding a kits folder is straightforward 🤷‍♂️ right now if you don't create a kits folder yourself then all the kits and config will just extract in to your graphics folder leaving a big mess, you will have all the kits flooding around amongst all the other stuff in your graphics folder. I would never just put a bunch of kits (or anything else for that matter) in my graphics folder and do always keep things in folders so you can find mistakes much more easily. To be honest I'm baffled that you can't follow my logic 😂

Sorry I was misunderstanding I forgot there wasn't a kits folder. It should probably be “graphics/kits/config.xml” rather than “graphics/config.xml” or “kits/config.xml”

I have a feeling someone else complained "graphics/kits" was pointless depth, possibly before the “editor data” files where added.

Okay that makes sense. My hole point is that there isn't a kits folder (this also goes for standard kits). Yes it is pointless if you are a senior FM player who have done this a millions times, but for newbie's it is not obvious 👍 I also creates a lot of folders and rename stuff and move things around, but again I've been adding graphics for fm for roughly 20 years now  😂

Yes to : "kits/config.xml” + all the kits in the kits folder 👍

Then you would also avoid this problem : graphics\sortitoutsi SS Kits Megapack 2024.04\graphics when people just extract the main folder in to there graphics folder ( this will not work and the kits will not show)

Then it would be : graphics\sortitoutsi SS Kits Megapack 2024.04\kits and that would also work and making the kits show in game

In the megapack config(s) Scunthorpe seem to have been excluded? The kits don't appear in there either so that is probably why, seems a weird ommision when they are in the England levels 1-6 pack! 

I woiuld edit it in myself but I can't seem to overwrite the config anymore by editing it in Notepad, it just reverts back to how it was before I made the changes? Anyone else get this and how do you edit the xml file? 

Edit to say Scunthorpe United team id is 707 to save you some time maybe.

Further edit - Seems the same is also true for Yeovil in Conference South, team id 743, no kits in the megapack and not in the config either despite existing in the English packs

Only Beşiktaş and Galatasaray's kits in Turkish Super League shows, while Fenerbahçe's and other kits of Turkish teams doesn't. Is that due an error, or are they not kits of other turkish teams in your kit database?

You will no update SS kits (like Serie A/B, French Divisions…etc) this year? :^(

at present no kit maker has said they will be making these leagues, unfortunately as this is a hobby for most people done in their free time it is upto them what kits they make.

I have followed the steps on my Mac to download the kits for Ishman League down, but the kits do not appear at all (they are saved in the library - application support - sports interactive - FM24 - graphics).

I have the other kits downloaded (but they're more the 3D style ones) so wondered if that effects it.

I have showed Arsenal as an example but trying to do a save with Harrow, and as you'll see the kits haven't loaded (the logos have)

Any helps would be appreciated.

Hello there! 

I'm looking to add custom generated kits for Sochaux (id:2009)

I generated the kits and have named them in the appropriate format. 

Within config.xml I added the lines:

<record from="2009_home" to="graphics/pictures/team/2009/home"/>
<record from="2009_away" to="graphics/pictures/team/2009/away"/>
<record from="2009_third" to="graphics/pictures/team/2009/third"/>

Unfortunately the newly generated kits are not added after clearing cache and reloading skins. Am I missing something? Also, may I ask what exactly is the different between config.xml and all_config.xml

I have downloaded the lower English leagues with the aim of starting a Harrow Borough save. However, the kits do not appear despite them being in the right folders and even showing at the start of the game (when they're in the frames in the boardroom).

I will like to clarify something that had happened to me and was able to fix it by trial and error.

The config.xml and all_config.xml where the issue.

The config.xml was being replaced everytime that I updated the pack from a previous megapack to the newest one (I did it all in a sitting, didn't have any kits installed).

The all_config.xml had all the correct information, but needed renaming.

I renamed all_config.xml to config.xml, and the previous config.xml to something else (doesn't really seems to mater to what).

With that, now I can see the kits from even the most obscure nations, as intended.
