Ive never had a VAR decision thats been overturned, in my game the ref gives a penalty and it never gets overturned, same with offsides. Is there a reason for it?

i must have done it wrong, could you explain how to do it in a more detailed way?! i'm not very good at these sorts of things! many thanks
do they work for all matches including friendlies etc or is it just for home competitive matches? As not sure i've followed the instructions correctly....
