no menu cursor

when i start up my football manager 2013 with steam it gets to the main football manager menu and theres no cursor has anyone else had this

Try changing your mouse pointer settings. Go to Control Panel>Mouse>Pointer Options

Where it says 'Visibility', make sure none of the boxes are ticked, that should hopefully sort it. Also try playing the game in windowed mode.
