Not sure on the deal. One hand I guess it's at least getting the deal done quick, but I've not seen enough of him. Did have him on Ultimate Team \o/ Hopefully can link up with Coutinho, I think if he does adapt hell be a really great player

Firmino is a good signing for Liverpool, however as Flash said £29M is a little steep though.

Cech medical with Arsenal next week apparently.

Independent say we've made an opening bid of £30M for Ramos. No thanks.

Schneiderlin has said his move away from Southampton should be completed in a few days. Arsenal or United I wonder.

Everton have signed Deulofeu on a permanent for six million Euros. Looked good back in 2013-14 so if that form is retained he could be a very good signing.

Rumour mill today is indicating Nathaniel Clyne is close to rubber-stamping a £12.5M move to Liverpool. Presumably cheaper thanks to the loyalty card discount Rodgers seems to enjoy there.

Could be Tottenham.

Twitter seems to think Bournemouth have agreed an £8.5million deal for Tyrone Mings, who Ipswich signed for ten grand. Mad.

Being reported on the BBC Sport site as well. I know loads of Ipswich supporters and they rate him very highly. Apparently he was once released by Southampton for being "too small", but now stands at about 6'5, he's pretty quick as well for someone of his size.

Fucking shite loyalty scheme Southampton have tbh, should get one free player by now.

Arsenal/United he's been linked to the most. Plus he's said he'll join a club in the Champions League.

I'm guessing Arsenal.

Tyrone Mings is good, seen him a few times.

Newcastle were linked but 8m is way too much for us to spend.

Seen some rumours that we're going for Alderweireld. I really do hope that happens, because with Wimmer also coming in, that should mean the end for Kaboul and Chiriches.

Sky saying Villa have had a bid rejected for Asmir Begovic.

Would Begovic really want to move from Stoke to Villa?

At least our business is being done early. Can't really complain about our signings so far. One question though, Bacca, I have no idea about him, someone fill me in???

Can't complain about Liverpool's signings?

I think only Firminio is one that would get clubs above 6th place worrying, and even then at 29m is a hell of a lot of money. Clyne would be a good buy but it's not confirmed yet is it?

Bacca-Sturridge-Balotelli-Ings is a decent strikeforce, mind.

Players like Ings and Bogdan are just backup and no better than what you had last year.

Firmino is mainly the one I am talking about. We fucked around a lot the last few seasons and missed out on some quality. How close we were to signing we don't know but we were linked. Bacca like I said I have no idea about, Firmino I only know from his Bundesliga record which is pretty good. Clyne, young, English, right back, we did release Johnson remember. I am also coming as a supporter not expecting to be challenging for the title but with the signings so far hoping for a top 4 push again. That is all.

I was hoping we'd be looking at Clyne but his deal for Liverpool looks pretty much done which is disappointing. We were apparently looking at Firmino as well though I don't really know anything about him outside of FM.

Schneiderlin would be a decent signing for us, the price seems a bit steep but then again the price for everyone is seemingly a bit steep now. Still crying out for a right back, centre backs and a striker - and not Harry Kane please.

I would kill for a center back atm, a world class center back. Not the likes of Lovren lol. I think if we get a solid center back, a striker who can score goals and stay fit and Sterling stays then we are a definite shout for top 4.

Tbf the signings are very similar to last year imo. Quantity over quality at times.. Although Milner and Firmino are good signing. Ings is a decent player but dont understand the thinking behind that. If we can bring in Bacca/Benteke (although Bacca seems bit expensive quoted when hes probably got 3/4 years left and Benteke had a shit first half season, admittedly under Lambert), some good centre back we should be looking a bit better. Seen Pedro being mentioned, think hed be a good signing

Ive seen him a few times and certainly think he's no better than Coutinho.

I don't think Benteke would be a very good signing for Liverpool at all.

Bennett would be mental, especially when we'd have to spend 30 million to get him. Id rather we spent the 21 million to get Bacca even if he is unproven in the league

Hes a little different to Coutinho imo, I feel the two can mix it together well.

As I said, bit pricey, but a decent enough signing for us
