It got a bit dicey for him after Christmas where the performances were dire and the results were poor.
There was very real worry that we'd lost out on the top 4 last season because we had a really hard run of games, but it all clicked we stormed those games and, ultimately, he achieved his aims last season.
Then people have been whining all season about the performances this season, but its only when the results have just dropped off the face of the earth people have given up on him.
I know you like saying this, but I don't think you appreciate how bad Moyes was for us. I don't think I can point to a single positive from Moyes reign except, perhaps, the signing of Mata, but even he's looking like a mistake.

Leicester top on Christmas day, Chelsea fans booing a win and MUFC losing to a newly promoted side again is pretty a bizarre cocktail. Gives the league a nicely unfamiliar look though - much better than the quite frequently predictable season last year.
