Start of season (default) DB

Hi, so I'm a huge realist... and I hate the fact that, unlike previous FM versions you could select the default database and start the season as things stood in preseason. You know- like before clubs sacked managers and signed new ones... Does anybody know of a way I can start a game without mid season managerial changes? cheers guys
