Mansfield Town Football Club is an English football club from the former mining town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The club was formed in 1897 as Mansfield Wesleyans and changed its name to Mansfield Wesley in 1906 before settling on Mansfield Town in 1910. They are nicknamed The Stags and traditionally play in amber and royal blue.
The club is competing in the Conference National, following their relegation from the Football League in the 2007–08 season. They had competed in the Football League from 1931 until their relegation.
The club has three honours, having won the Fourth Division title in 1974–75, the Third Division in 1976–77 and the Football League Trophy in 1986–87. The club also finished as runners-up in the 2010–11 FA Trophy.
Full name: One Call Stadium
Built: 1861
Owner: John Radford
Scoreboard: Yes (2009)
Capacity: 7,574 (Football)
Football has been played on the Field Mill site since the 1861, making it the second oldest football ground in the country (behind Hallam FC). Mansfield Town first started playing matches there in the 1919–20 season, however for the first two years it was also used as a cricket ground by the Mansfield branch of the National Federation of Discharged and Disabled ex-Servicemen's Societies (DDSS). In 1921, the DDSS's lease on the ground ran out, and the ground was sold by its owner, the Duke of Portland, on the condition that it would only ever be used for sporting purposes.

Update 1: Season 2012/2013 - Game Information
So I've decided to load quite a few leagues the game is still running on 5 stars so why not? The only reason I've loaded so many and will always be at Mansfield is basically i like to have a big player count to have the play search wide open and bring in some real gems from foreign countries.
Set the past experience to Sunday footballer, the best way! That way i can become World Class once Mansfield win the Champions League! (hopefully)
Now, now the finances. I'm as confused as about all the Mansfield fans about this, these are the best finances Mansfield have probably ever had on FM even when we was in league two! a 250k wage budget? I have no idea where that's come from either, I'm not going to complain though with alot of deadwood in the team that i release i will have plenty of money on wages for free transfers without even touching the 250k. I'm looking forward to this..

Update 2: Season 2012/2013 -Pre Season Friendlies
Not a too bad pre season in all fairness, I was in the middle of signing and releasing players so the morale would of been all over the place even though i managed to win 5 out of 6! The teams wasn't great to be fair most of them was quite local but just wanted to get a winning streak under the belt before i start the season.

Update 3: Season 2012/2013 - Transfers
As you can see I've been playing around with the squad alot which included loaning a striker and then releasing him when i found a better one! Non of the player stand out massively in all fairness!
The finances are still ok, -1k in red on the wages but if you don't take risks you wont succeed!
