Has anybody else noticed that players ask your club for really inflated wages. I am managing Kettering and tried to sign Adriano Moke, a free agent. I am in the BSN and he was asking for £1300 a week. I did feel that was too much money to be paying so I pulled out. A week later he has signed for Welling who are in the BSS so a very similar level club and he is on £350 a week.

I tried to negotiate and he wouldn't accept anything less that £900 a week. Why is there such a big difference between what he would accept?

Yeah noticed that myself, second season with Fulham, made 4th place and suddenly Berbatov wants 105k a week, I'd rather let him go for free at the end of the year than pay him that! Similar situation with others too.
