AS Monaco FC

This is my first time posting a career here, so i decided to give it a go with Monaco. Eventhough they have good money and a decent team, it is very hard to manage them. The first problem is that you have a lot of money but a lot of players to replace.

THE PROBLEMS:
1- The defence isn't reliable. Ricardo Carvalho is a great defender if you consider the mental atributes and his history. However his physical stats are very bad. Abdennour is exactly the opposite, in my opinion he is good enough considering his physical stats, but doesn't have enough to convince me he is a good defender considering his mental stats.

2- The goalkeepers are two decent ones. But that's it. Both aren't keepers that i would have if i managed a champions league team.

3- In the midfield we have a good load of players, but kondogbia isn't in his peak yet and eventhough moutinho is one of my best players he can't play every match. And toulalan might be very known by the football world but for me he has to do a lot better to earn a spot in the first team.

4- In my opinion the attackers are enough for this season, but they have to be well served. Considering i have Carrasco, who i think is a good prospect, and bernardo silva i still think i need two more wingers for this team.

5- The staff is a thing i really need to take a look. I will have to dismiss some of them and hire some others that are of my confidence.

TRANSFERS: I really think i might be able to win this League One title this year, but im prepared to not win this year and dispute the next years. Having that in mind i decided to buy young players for the future.

1- As my first transfer i decided to hire Mickael Barbier, who is a regen from Canada, 20 years old and is an attacking midfielder. As he was an amateur player i was able to hire him for no fee, I thought the age would be a big problem in his development, but as he was almost free i decided to bring him anyway and give it a try. The first thing i did was to loan him for another team, Ajaccio was the best team available and i decided to loan him there as he would be playing for League 2. So far he has played 15 games and has an average rate of 7.07. Free Transfer

2- For my second transfer i bought Balanta. He is a very well known player for experienced managers and i think i would be the best defender available for his price. So far he has played 19 games with an average rating of 7,16. In the league we have played 21 games and suffered 22 goals. I think we still got a long way to become the best defence team in the league but he is doing great. 5,75 Million.

3- Jesús Vallejo: he comes as a defender of young age and good prospect. Fitting two of my problems. As much as I needed another defender I decided to loan him. I though he was just too young to be in the first team. He went for loan at Zaragoza and so far has played 8 games with an average rating of 7,03. 1,1 Million.

4- I decided it was time i bought someone to resolve my problems on the attack. So I brought Depay. For 21 million pounds I brought him to be my reliable man. So far 28 games with 13 goals and 7 assists. I think he could have done better but he seems to rise for the team when he is really needed and he isn't at his full potential.

5- Emanuel Mammana came as another reinforcement for the defence, but i decided to loan him too. So he went back to river for 6 months but didn't play much there. 5 Million.

6- Timo Horn was my last buy and maybe one of the most important. For only 6,75 million pounds I was able to bring him. 30 Matches 30 goals taken.

At the middle of the season we were doing great. We got the first place for a nice time. Still, we had to buy some new players:

1- John Lancaster who is a regen, 19 year old american striker who i believe has a good potential. Free sign.

2- Zakaria Bakalli - I just had to bring him. He was at the end of his contract and i was able to sign a pre-contract and decided to bring him right at that time. 850k pounds.

3- Yohan Cabaye - PSG had transfer listed him and as I said before I needed a deeper selection at my midfield and I believe he is able not only to bring depth but to be a first team player. 6,75 million pounds.

4- Didier Drogba - had no money but still thought he would be a good player to bring. So i decided to get rid of Berbatov who was ruining my payroll and wasn't corresponding on the field. Brought him for 275K pounds.
